A lot of us have to wait till mid March au longer for Midnight to come out. But I've seen tweets from people in Australia(where it was released today) who have the book about events and nukuu regarding DE.

WARNING: VERY SPOILERY

-Damon to Elena: "Will wewe remember? Just that...I loved once, just once, really, in my whole life. Can wewe remember that I loved you?"

-"There was no world for her if there was no Damon"

-Stefan apologizes for coming in between them, he didn't understand how much they loved each other.

-In the motel she held him all night because he didn't want to feel alone

-"'I want Damon back.' Elena hadn't heard quite this note in her voice since the siku shed been told both her parents had died."

-"Her hands wrenched aside curtains that she somehow knew were there and her skyrocketing moyo brought a name to her lips. 'Da-!'"

-"Damon was dead. Her head bent slowly until her forehead touched the glass."

-"In the end Damon had died to save Bonnie. Elena herself needed no zaidi proof of his feelings about her. She would always upendo Damon, and she would never allow anything to diminish that love."

-he comes back in the last page of the book

DamonLoverr I was so near tears at the end! Have you all seen this latest post from the author on her website? “I fought tooth and nail to write those books--I fought until my agent wouldn't support me, when she said I would be sued and she wouldn't fight with me anymore, and I WROTE Phantom. But instead of edits what I got back was a letter to Clare the ghostwriter telling her to completely change my book. I HAD NO CHOICE IN THE MATTER. I was deceived by Alloy and got no support from Harper.” Who knows where the story will go now. Not that I'll be buying it. Obviously the publishers screwed the author over now we'll never know the true ending.

makaylarockstar no >:| elena is suppose to love stephan not damn ugggg damon needs to go find somene else to love. damon is always the reason why bad things happens i mean it was epic when stephan and elena are together but then damon comes between them elena needs to wake up and relize that she is falling in love with the wrong person -TEAM STEPHAN

Poppy, a friend of mine on the vampire-diaries.net forums, recently traded a few e-mails with LJS and asked about Damon/Meredith as a possibility and LJS gave a little bit about her plans for Meredith's future storylines (even is they won't be used kwa the ghostwriter).

For alot of the Damon/Elena au Damon/Bonnie fans, Damon/Meredith seems to be a little bit, well…on the strange side. To be frank, most don't see the ship as legitimate. Partly, this is because the main triangle…rectangle…whatever - is Stefan/Elena/Damon/Bonnie/Matt, and Meredith is almost neglected in that aspect. Another contributing factor is that Damon has been changed throughout the Return series, and this could very well lead to a character…more appropriate for Damon/Bonnie…or Damon/Elena, for that matter.
