Ok, so I'd like to propose something. I know all of us on here upendo tvd soo much! We all have different opinions, ships, and ideas. Our diversity is such a great thing but, as we all know, it can lead to trully ugly and mean-spirited fights. I've seen people try to rip eachother to shreds over tvd and it's an embarassment to our epic show! All of us have been guilty of letting our passion get the best of us. Look, I’ll say this. Katherine may have alisema that she loved Damon because it would rattle Elena. But, what seems to confuse people is her behavior in 2x21-2x22 — in comination with these words. Hence, it’s very much a statement like, “I don’t get it! First, Katherine loves Stefan forever (and ever, amen!) and then she loves Damon. Katherine’s confusing!” that tends to circulate around the fandom.
