The Winner of for FOTM August is LoveBaltor.
1. What was your reaction about being FOTM?
I was really surprised. I actually didn't think that I would have as many kura as I did. I honestly believed that I didn't do as much as other users on here. Sure I ametoa maoni and added an makala from time-to-time, but I think others did a lot zaidi than me. So winning this mwezi really surprised me; I never knew so many people cared about me and what I had to say on this spot. So, thank wewe guys :)
2. inayopendelewa Character?
Tecna. And my number one inayopendelewa "good character" is of course, Tecna. Tecna is the one character who has been my all time inayopendelewa ever since I first saw the show. She was smart, funny, cool, her fairy outfits are awesome and that British accent she had was way too snazzy. (I'm referring to the 4kids dub) For some reason, I was always liking the smart female characters. I know now it's because I can relate to them. Though I'm not smart in all subjects, the ones I excel at, are the ones most people turn to me for help in. Tecna is always giving help in difficult problems and she's the one doing her homework and knowing the answers; like me. We're both hesitant on sharing things and don't really like inaonyesha affection. I don't care for inaonyesha affection, and the only ones I really onyesha it to are my mom, dog and pet lizard. I'm reclusive about sharing certain aspects of my life and thoughts—even to my closests friends. Tecna and I are both very rational. She believes in science and probability, as do I. Science is something I've always loved and lived by. It makes the most sense and of course, provides the most substantial evidence. It gives us facts and explanations to live by. We also even relate with family situations. Tecna's father is only shown in the comics, but he is portrayed as cold and firm. He doesn't like Timmy and tries to force Tecna to break up with him. He doesn't want her going to Alfea either, and would like her to return back to Zenith. Tecna of course refuses to do either of those things. We're both stubborn as well, and I refuse to go with most of the "plans" that my father has "offered" me. He always blabs on about how I should become a lawyer and that I should do this and that. I have never been interested in law. Maybe the science involved in it (Like forensics) au the criminal profiling, but not standing in front of a jury and ranting on about how my client is guilty au not guilty. I have gone against most "plans" that my father has aliyopewa me, and our relationship is rather strained. (As is Tecna's with her father) Not only is she the most relatable, but she also has good aspects of character. She is very brave, the most prominent examples being the closing of the Omega portal and saving the Winx from ravenous spiders with little to no power. She is kind in her own way and tries her best to be part of the group and even improves in inaonyesha off emotions. Her character developes over time and I upendo that. Though she has kind of gotten dull in season five like the rest, I still upendo her. She's my ultimate inayopendelewa and she will always be. Because she's Tecna, fairy of technology.
3. Least inayopendelewa Character?
Bloom.-If I could describe Bloom's character in one word I would obviously pick: Mary-Sue. If wewe don't know kwa know; a Mary-Sue is a female character in a book, onyesha au movie that has no faults. Everything good happens to her and everything bad that does happen to her, gets resolved rather quickly. Everything is easier for her and most things are usually handed down to her; making everything all other characters have endured to be completely unnecessary and her difficulties and rewards completely unfair. If wewe can't see Bloom as being one of these, wewe must be blind. Everything is handed down to her. She barely has to work hard to receive anything in the show—the Winx au someone else she knows usually doing it for her. For example: earning her Enchantix. The way she did it was completely unfair. She did not sacrifice anything and I don't even know how she got her Believix and all of it's add-ons when her Enchantix was supposedly "incomplete". (Do they resolve this in the movie? I don't think they do: Sky (Of course) being the one who really saves her parents) She doesn't even get it on her own! She needs to literally travel to a dragon infested island and seek aid from an old wise-woman to finally get it. I mean, are wewe that handicapped at doing anything kwa yourself? Another problem that I have with her is that her power is supposedly the most "powerful" in all of the universe. Okay, really, how is that fair? It's like you're telling us in advance that she can never be beaten and that all the efforts the villains put into destroying her of Magix is completely useless, because she'll be their to kick their punda with her powers. I don't know who's bright idea it was, but it certainly was a stupid one. (And making the chanzo of her power the thing that basically spawned life in the universe? Come on! It's like you're rubbing our noses even zaidi into the fact that she can never be beaten and will always be superior!) I don't see how any of the other girls can stand being around her. I would be so annoyed with every villain coming after only her; she always being aliyopewa special treatment. I think she'd be dead after the first mwaka of school. Bloom I find, is also a selfish character. I'll give an example: Vanessa and Mike cared for her ever since she was a baby, and when she finally found out that they weren't her actual parents, she began calling them kwa their first names instead of "mom" au "dad". I find this incredibly rude and disrespectful. They have cared for wewe for 16 years, treated wewe like their own daughter and only when wewe find out you're adopted is when wewe start resenting and disrespecting them? Most orphaned children who get adopted still end up calling the people who adopt them their "mother" au "father" so I don't see where Bloom gets the right to be so disrespectful towards Vanessa and Mike. She also takes her Marafiki and even her boyfriend for granted. She always argues with Sky and cries and whines about him not telling her about Diaspro au still caring for her. Shut up. Seriously. He's most likely known her for far longer than you, so of course he's eventually going to learn to care about her. wewe were the one who acted like an idiot attacking her out of jealously. With the Winx she always relies on them for something. "Help me find my parents!", "Help me go to Domino!", "Help me earn my Enchantix!" I know you're supposed to rely on Marafiki for some things but fuck, she always needs them for something. And no to mention, the problems always end up being about her. They're never "Let's go help Stella's family!" au "Let's help Tecna's dad change his mind about Timmy!" au "Let's help comfort Musa because of her loss!" It's always about me; me, me. She's such a selfish twat.
4. inayopendelewa Transformation?
Enchantix has always been my inayopendelewa transformation. I think it is the most beautiful and the closest to folklore fairy-wear. I think all the girls look beautiful in it (Yes, even Bloom) and the way they earned it is something I really like to. It shows that they're all brave in their own way and will save someone they upendo no matter what the cost.
5. Least inayopendelewa Transformation?
Sophix. I can acknowledge that it has a useful purpose—more useful than Harmonix, mind you—but I just hate the way it looks. It's so whorish and barely covers any of the girls. I don't really get this. Maybe it's supposed to be zaidi tribal au something, but I still think it shows too much for a kids show.
6. What do wewe like about the Winx Spot?
The people on here are really great. They're all really nice and we never tend to fight amongst each other. We might disagree, but I've never seen many fights on this spot compared to others. I like how close we are with each other. I have always been close with people on this spot, and though most of them have gone, new people have joined and I've become Marafiki with them as well. It's just a very peaceful and fun spot, and I always look mbele to coming on it whenever I log on ^_^
7. Is there anything wewe wish to improve on this spot?
I can't stand how many trolls find their way unto the spot. It's annoying and very tedious to remove their ukuta posts and their accounts. Then there's always the rude users who appear and start bashing other people's opinions. I can't stand that. It's called an opinion for a reason, people.
8. What do wewe miss most about the old episodes?
I miss the old animation, I really do. When they started using zaidi computer based uhuishaji in season four, I was really disappointed. I loved the 2D animation. I was simple, cute and it could be really gorgeous at times. I also miss the good plots, and the good villains. The Trix were just butchered in season five, and that just pissed me off to no end. And I miss the old voices. I loved the 4kids voices and I really even liked the Rai voices for season four. I can't stand the bland voices that Nick has it's just—no.
9. inayopendelewa Season?
Gotta go with season three. I upendo the plot, upendo the new villain and I upendo the transformation. I like the awali seasons as well, but season three has always been a inayopendelewa of mine. I just upendo it.
10. Least inayopendelewa Season?
Of course season five :P I don't really see how some people can actually hate season four more. Season five was just disgusting. The plot was boring, and the subplots were too. (And even though this season was primarily about Layla and her family, Bloom still had to be shoved into the plot somehow. Which I've seriously had enough of) The villain was pathetic and even the Trix were too. It pains me to say that, but they were. Icy always acted like some love-sick teen and her sisters were always shoved to the side. They were always aliyopewa these pathetic missions from Tritannus, and when they weren't, they would just be sitting somewhere waiting for orders. Way to use some great villains, guys. Plus the transformations are also something I can't stand. Harmonix is useless. It just is. They've been able to use their powers under water before and songesha around just fine, so making a transformation just so they could be able to do those things, is pointless. Sirenix is just weird looking, both in 2D and 3D. The name is based off of "Siren" so where are these ugly leggings coming from? Sirens are mermaids people, not circus performers.
11. Pixies, Pets au Selkies?
This is a hard one, since I find them all equally annoying and pointless, but I guess I'll go with the pixies. I like the majority of them, and they can be amusing at times.
12. Faragonda, Saladin, au Griffin?
Faragonda and Griffin would be my picks. I don't really care about Saladin. Griffin has always been really cool to me, and getting some background information on her in season three was really awesome. Faragonda has grown on me, and I thought she acted pretty bad punda when fighting Valtor. (Before she was turned into a tree)
13. Is There anything I could improve on to make FOTM better?
...I honestly don't have any suggestions XD I think wewe did a really good job at handling it so I have no complaints :)
