AN: My sekunde song-fic right after the song “The Way” kwa Ariana Grande. I keep wondering to myself why I haven't done this three weeks ago, and save this as a draft for two weeks..right after I watched “Frozen” I just have to do this :P! Idina Menzel's “Let It Go”.

“The snow glows white on the mountain tonight, not a footprint to be seen.”
Layla was resting herself on the mountain. It was snowing cold, and Layla was crying. kwa that day, it has been three years since Nabu died. She knew she couldn’t handle it anymore. She looked at the white, thick snow and saw herself. Her Marafiki keep telling her to songesha on, but she couldn’t. Just couldn’t.
“The wind is howling like the swirling storm inside.”
The wind was made an unusual and noisy sound. It was like how Layla is currently feeling. Happy face, but inside--she is a sadistic fairy whom can't let go of the one she loved. She even thought about suicide once, but that couldn’t happen at all.
“Conceal, don't feel. Don't let them know. Well, now they know.”
Layla was supposed to stop feeling angry au wanting rage, as what Faragonda has said. All these years she's been pretending she can’t handle it. She couldn't let anyone know she still feels angry about what Ogron did, but now that shes at the cold snowy mountain kwa herself, it seems everyone knows. She was supposed to conceal it.
“Let it go, let it go. Can’t hold it back anymore.”
And there, she did it! She used her powers and blasted against the big tree, and imagined the mti as Ogron. She knew she can’t hide her anger anymore. She needed to onyesha it. She can’t hold it back, not anymore. She just can’t.
“Let the storm rage on.”
Layla let her mind do the all the dirty-work. She let her mind control her hands and how much power she needed. She just, blasted a powerful attack against a tree. An innocent tree. Boy, she surely misses Nabu! Conceal, don’t feel. She thought.
“The fears that once controlled me, can't get to me at all!”
She no longer fears of revenge. She no longer needed fear to control what she did; she can do anything she wants now. She’s alone, on a mountain filled with snow during the winter season. She, is happy for once. Finally happy to let out her rage.
“No right, no wrong, no rules for me. I’m free!”
She’s finally happy to be free to let out all the things she went through just kwa attacking a tree. There was no zaidi rule-breaking. Because she's free! Layla summoned a powerful kick, which made the mti collapse.
“You’ll never see me cry.”
Layla promised to herself once she let the rage out, she’ll never cry about Nabu anymore--if she can do it. But it seems Roy makes her remember of Nabu, Roy makes her cry. Layla stopped attacking and took a deep breathe and let it all out. She then started attacking the mti once more.
“My power flurries through the air into the ground.”
This time she attacked extremely hard, like if she’d attack wewe your organs would mgawanyiko, baidisha into parts! Of course, right--she imagined the mti as evil Ogron wasting the magic to give life to a flower. Layla still tried to forget it..but something was stopping her from doing so.
“I’m never going back, the past is in the past!”
She cried, sad tears--not happy tears for letting rage out. She felt something extraordinary happening to her, she knew something was telling her to forget the past. The past is in the past! She thought. She took a deep breathe and let it out after a few minutes.
“The cold never bothered me anyway.”
She stopped attacking, and slowly a smile appeared on her face. She turned behind and started walking back to Alfea. She knew people would ask wouldn’t she felt cold at the mountain during winter and a winter storm happening right above her head? But no, the cold was in her blood. She was attracted to cold. The cold explained her feeling. It never annoyed nor bother her.
And she finally realized the right thing--she had to let go of Nabu.
