Continuity: After Dorothy is awakened kwa the Tin Man's tears, she sits up and wipes her face with both hands. In the inayofuata shot, however, when Toto awakens, Dorothy is still sleeping because her hands and arms are still down.

Revealing mistakes: When the Red people are dancing in front of a camera at the zumaridi, zamaradi City, there is a giant screen that shows the people dancing. A red woman goes in front of the people and does a dance, but her movement on the screen does not match the moves that she makes in front of the camera.

The first song that Michael Jackson sings, "You Can't Win," was originally written for the stage version for the Winkies to sing to Dorothy about the futility of escaping from Evillene. The song was cut from the stage version of the musical during previews but was included in the film as the Scarecrow's song.

In his book "Making Movies," Sidney Lumet admits that the filming of the zumaridi, zamaradi City Sequence on the plaza at the World Trade Center had to be cut short because of wind and scheduling. The Port Authority would not allow zaidi time to fix the mistakes, the red sequence had to be shortened...
