A/N: Hi everyone. This is the first Hetalia fanfiction I've written. It's actually is a very long one shot, but I've decided to post it into parts. So here is the first part of "Die Blume aus Papier" (It's German for ''the paper flower''). The story takes place during the cold war, It's rather sad, but I hope wewe like it!

It was very cold in the sekunde mwezi of the mwaka 1959. All the people in Berlin stayed inside to warm themselves up behind the cozy fireplace. But there still was a little boy somewhere in the east of Berlin who stayed outside. His sad blue eyes stared at the white mitaani, mtaa while the wind made his short blonde hair dance. A tall woman opened the door behind the boy ‘’Ludwig would wewe please come inside? wewe might catch a cold.’’ Ludwig stood up, walked to the living room and sat down inayofuata to the old sofa where a ten-year-old boy was coughing heavily.
The boy had blonde hair just like Ludwig. His eyes were also similar to Ludwig’s, the only difference was the brown color. It was not hard to see that the two boys were brothers. The boy's mother sat down to check his temperature ‘’Oh dear you’re so warm.’’ She alisema and she looked at her other son ‘’Mutti is Gilbert going to die?’’ asked the eight-year old boy while he looked at his mother with worried eyes. His mother nodded and started to cry. ‘’No! That can't be true.’’ Ludwig cried out. ‘’I’m afraid it is.’’ alisema his mother. Ludwig cried while he held his brothers hand tightly.
Gilbert reached out his other hand and wiped one of Ludwig’s tears away. ‘’Ludwig?’’ he alisema weakly ‘’Will wewe promise me something?’’ Ludwig wiped the rest of his tears away ‘’What is it, brother?’’ Gilbert coughed a bit ‘’Promise to never forget about me.’’ ‘’I’ll never forget about wewe brother. ’’ Ludwig alisema while he tried not to cry ‘’I promise’’ Gilbert started to smile ‘’Thank you, I’m so glad’’ he alisema and he gave his little brother a hug.
‘’What’s in your bag?’’ he asked curiously? Ludwig took a box of chokoleti out of his bag ‘’Here our neighbor gave this to me but wewe can have it.’’ ‘’Thanks’’ Gilbert alisema while he opened the box After he ate a few bonbons, he picked up the paper in the box and started to fold it. Ludwig watched him with all his attention. His brother could create beautiful things with just a simple piece of paper. ‘’Done’’ Gilbert said, and he gave the maua, ua he fold to his little brother. ‘’This will help wewe think about me.’’ Ludwig accepted the maua, ua and walked to his room. A paper maua, ua he fold a few weeks zamani laid inayofuata to his bed. He picked up the flower, walked back to living room and gave it to his older brother. ‘’Now wewe can also think about me.’’ Ludwig said. Gilbert smiled and started to yawn. ‘’Are wewe tired dear?’’ his mother asked. Gilbert nodded. ‘’Shall I leave wewe alone then?’’ Ludwig asked. Gilbert shook his head ‘’No! I want wewe and Mutti to stay with me.’’
Ludwig walked to the kitanda and sat inayofuata to his brother. His mother did the same and started to stroke both of her boys’ hair. Suddenly Gilbert accidently dropped the maua, ua his brother gave him. He desperately tried to pick it up, but he knew that he didn’t even had enough strength for that. Ludwig saw how his brother was fighting for the flower. He picked it up and put it on his brother’s chest. With a feeling of relief Gilbert smiled at his brother and alisema ‘’Thank…. you…. Ludwig’’ The dying boy closed his eyes after he alisema his last words.
Ludwig felt sad, he knew that his brother would never wake up again. He hold his hand and remembered how they played games together, How Gilbert always saved him from the bullies that were taunting him, the warm summers they spend in the lake and the cold winters where they gave each other warmth.
Ludwig’s mother felt the pulse of her little boy. She embraced her youngest son and alisema ‘’He just turned into an angel.’’ Ludwig had never felt so sad in his life. His one and only brother whom he loved and respected so much was gone. Ludwig burst into tears and ran to his room. He just wanted to be alone.
After a while his mother came in. ‘’How are wewe feeling Ludwig?’’ she asked. Ludwig sighed ‘’I miss Gilbert.’’ Ludwig’s mother sat down inayofuata to her son ‘’I also miss him.’’ she alisema ‘’But, he’s still with us wewe know.’’ ‘’Really?’’ Ludwig asked surprised. ‘’Yes, in here’’ his mother alisema as she pointed her finger to Ludwig’s chest ‘’Gilbert is an angel, he can watch the earth from heaven. It doesn’t matter where we’ll go au what we do, Gilbert will always be with us.’’ Ludwig dried his eyes ‘’Yes, that’s true.’’
