*SPLASH* I looked all around me to make sure all of my body parts were intact. A huge grin spread across my face. "WOO! VITORY!!!" I screamed. Throwing my hands up into the air. I looked on to pwani to see everyone staring at me, mouths wide open. "What?" I asked confused. "I made it! Be happy!" I still was smiling. I looked down, in horror, to find what they were staring at. My bathing suit juu was gone. "HOLY SH!T!!!!!" I yelled ducking under water. I poked my eyes back above to see what was happening. The girls, I could plainly see felt sorry for me. They scowled at the guys, then continued on with the challenge. The perverted guys all stayed on the beach, waiting for me to get out, snickering. DJ wasn't one of them, but he kept yelling, "Sofie! Come to shore! I'll help you!..." I swam to the beach, pwani and ran up to DJ as I got out. I buried my face in his chest and began to cry. He wrapped him arms around me and walked me to my cabin. He let go and I ran inside, still sobbing. I came outside with a new juu on, feeling shy and hugged DJ. I heard soft, nyasi muffled footsteps near and poked my eyes away from DJ's body. Duncan was walking toward us. Crap, I thought. DJ let me go and told me he had to finish the challenge. I stood there looking at Duncan. He was smirking. I suddenly felt self consious, seeing myself through his eyes. He came close enough so that our noses were about 3 cm apart. He looked into my eyes and we were both struck with shyness. After 5 dakika of long silence, I asked, "So... how much did wewe see?" His eyes got wide and we turned away from me. I smiled and a huge blush spread across my face. He alisema without turning around, "I just wanted to check on you."
Then he said, "But now that your alright... I guess I'll go finish the challenge." Then out of no where, cheers were heard across camp. We looked in the direction of the sound and saw the Screaming Gophers throwing their hand in the air and hugging one another. The Killer bass, besi stood inayofuata to them, kwa a poorly built hot tub, and a gorgeous looking one. I had just realized we had Lost the challenge. Duncan sighed and walked away. Thats it? I thought. No, "are wewe OK"?, or, "want me to walk wewe back to the beach"? Not even a, "nice chi-chi's"?! I DESERVE SOMETHING PEOPLE!! I scowled and walked in the other direction. A few steps later Duncan fell to the ground holding his leg, obviously in pain. I was shocked and ran over to him. "Owww!!" He cried squeezing the injury. He had a deep cut down his leg and it was bleeding. "Duncan! What happened?" I asked crouching down. "I-I fell, uh, tripped." He said. I gave a worried look and ran back to the cabin. "Where are wewe going?!" He yelled to my back. "I'll be right back!!" I answered. "Stay there!" I screamed. I dug in my suit case until I found a pack of bright blue band aids. While searching for the disinfectant spray, I thought, I wonder why he fell right then? I burst through the cabin, kibanda door and came back to him. "OK, don't move." I alisema shaking the bottle of disinfectant. I sprayed it all over the cut and unwrapped the band aid. "Blue? Seriously?" He asked disgusted. "Oh, shut up! It matches your eyes!" I yelled laughing.
I carefully pressed it on and admired my work. "Gee, thanks Mommy." He said. "No problem Son." I smiled and gave him a thumbs up. I leaned down and kissed the band aid. He raised an eye brow. "Why did wewe kiss it?" He asked. "Mother's touch." I replied. He got up and gave a slight wave before walking into the boys side of the cabin. When he was gone I walked down to the dock, alone. I slid off my flip-flops and sat kwa the water's edge. I picked up a rock and threw it at my reflection shouting, "DAMN ROCK! WHY CAN'T wewe BE BIGGER!?" DJ heard me and sat kwa my side. "What's wrong?" He asked. "You wouldn't understand." I alisema with tears rolling down my cheeks. "Bet I would." He alisema with his arm around me. I looked at him and frowned. "Boy trouble." His eyes widened and he laughed. "No, I guess I can't help wewe there." I laughed too and we sat there for about another saa before returning to camp.
