Can wewe give me a short but good summary of the Mortal Instruments?

I'm just going to give wewe the first book's summary because I don't want to spoil the rest of them for you, what I will tell wewe is that there are five vitabu total so far- City of Bones, Ashes, Glass, Fallen Angles and Lost Souls. The first starts out with a teenage girl named Clare Fray whos goes to this club with her best friend-Simon-and she witness the death of a demon kwa these three Shadowhunters. Later after a big fight between Clare and he mother she and Simon go out for coffee and their she sees-a specific-shadowhunter-whos name will not be spoken. Whom only she can see, and sekunde later she gets this call and rushes nyumbani to be attached kwa this Raven and her mother missing. She is found by-that specific-shadowhunter and taken to his world where he meets those other two shadowhunters and their mentor. Also they will help track down her mom the rest is up to wewe to find out. And if wewe have any maswali feel free to ask. :-)
