This story has been bugging me ever since I brainstormed it yesterday so I though might as well write it:
Alli Hanson sat bored in her Geography class, waiting for her teacher to stop droning on about world war 2 and dismiss the class, so they could finally go home. She started to scan the class trying to guess what everyone was thinking when a white boy caught her eye and she focused in on him trying to see if he would turn around and look at her.
Rick Duncan felt a pair of eyes boring into the back of his head, when the class was dismissed he stood up and turned around to see a black girl staring at him still. She smiled shyly and moved her gaze away to the window as she too stood up and packed her bag with vitabu and quickly moving past him, shyly saying hi to him as she past.
An saa later as she was coming nyumbani from her Marafiki house she ran into the boy she'd had her eyes own in class with a group of his Marafiki around him. As she past them someone stuck out his hand and started to speak to her," hujambo little girly wewe staring at my boy earlier, just don't do it again, wewe black people sicken me going after us." He pushed her to the ground and all his friends, including the boy she'd been whatching, started laugh and kick her sides, she was crying and bleeding as they left ger there. She managed to get up and hobble slowly nyumbani blood soaking her shorts from the scars and gashes they'd left on her side.
Rick and his Marafiki joked around about beating the black girl up hours after it actually happened, though Rick thought he would feel bad about doing it, but he strangely enjoyed it. And couldn't wait to do it again
sorry its short but I have to do something and anyway I introduced the 2 characters I'm going to be using as a pov for the whole book and hope wewe like it

We are going separate ways.
We must leave each other,
Though I regret it,
There is nothing either of us
Can do.
We are going separate ways.
The bright light shines in our futures,
For the separate ways we go
Are the best for each of us.
We must leave for the good of it,
Though I don't want to,
And I know wewe don't either.
But it is important that we do.
It is never easy
Doing what we do the worst,
Leaving each other,
And the thoughts that we are...
Best friends...leaving each other...
We must go our separate ways.
For our own good.
And we pray that one day...
We will meet each other again.
And we will.
We must leave each other,
Though I regret it,
There is nothing either of us
Can do.
