"But I can't," sputtered Eric.
"You can and wewe shall," replied his mother. "Mrs. Sanders has to defend a client today and poor Chloe has no way of getting to school. wewe have a car so take her. What is the big deal?"
The big deal is that he gets nervous whenever he is around her. She is probably sick and tired of him anyways. She must hate him since he is dating Shea. "I can't," he alisema once more. He had to think of a really good excuse. "Shea might see us and get the wrong idea."
"Then I will talk to her about it," alisema his mom.
Arguing would only make things worse so he finally agreed. If it meant he wouldn't have to listen to another one of his mother's speeches then he will do anything.
He put on a good face and knocked on Chloe's door. She answered it in seconds. She was dressed and ready. "airs about time wewe came! I have been waiting for ten minutes."
"That isn't very long," alisema Eric.
"Lets just go," muttered Chloe
Corey was back to his usual self. Even though he had been his alter ego for a week au two, it felt almost strange for him to wear his usually graphic tee and ripped jeans. He walked into history class was a broad grin on his face. He had been receiving dirty looks from numerous of students as he strolled around campus. He hadn't seen au heard from Shea yet but he knew that she would be devastated.
Well, he was right about that. Shea was in his history class so when he came through the door he found her sobbing to her friends. "He kissed her! That ratchet demon!"
"I can't believe Eric would do such a thing," alisema her best friend Terra.
Chloe could hear the whispers coming from everyone in the halls. They were talking about her being involved in the latest scandal. Apparently, the rumor got it that she had a make out session with Shea's boyfriend Eric. It was true but it wasn't technically a make out session. They just had one quick kiss. It was zaidi of a peck on the lips. She hadn't meant for it to happen.
Eric ignored her all morning. The rumors were even getting zaidi vicious kwa the afternoon. Not only did she kiss him in his car but she also had been dating him behind Shea's back. That was one of the many rumors. Chloe thought that Blair might be spreading them since Blair liked Eric in the first place but she didn't want to blame her old friend.
Chloe was already having a crappy day. The lunch ladies even turned their heads at her. How was that being kind to all students? She wanted to crawl in a hole and die. She didn't have any Marafiki and the last thing she needed was to be making enemies.
"Hey, Derek," she called out. He was walking right pass her but she still called his name until he reluctantly faced her. "Don't wewe want to sit kwa me today."
"Oh," he said.
"Please, I have no one else to talk to," she begged.
"And what made me the target? Go talk to your new boyfriend. wewe know, the one wewe stole." He strolled off to another table. He might be a big rockstar but he does know how to hurt you.
Chloe sat down just when Shea confronted her. She had her clones right behind her. The lunchroom was silent as she spoke. "I don't know what made wewe think it was okay to kiss my boyfriend. Did he lead wewe on? au are wewe so desperate for attention that wewe would stoop this low. Get ready Chloe Sanders. I am going to make your life hell." Shea stormed out the lunchroom leaving a cold, harsh air behind.
"The tamasha will be the September 4th, right after school. How does that sound?" asked Derek's manager.
"Yea, I'm okay with it," he replied.
"I have been thinking," she said. "We should hold a competition right after the tamasha for one of the many girls and boys that attend wewe school to enter and be able to appear in your upcoming muziki video."
"You are forgetting one thing. I don't have any songs prepared for a tamasha let alone a muziki video." He had been working every night trying to come up with lyrics. It hasn't been easy for him. Usually, lyrics flow out of him and into a song.
"Do wewe need Michael to help you?" Michael is his vocal coach and a grumpy one at that.
"No!" he alisema a bit too quick. "I just need inspiration."
"Gosh," his Agent Michelle alisema while rolling her pale blue eyes. "You sound like an actually artist."
"That is because I am," he said. Derek. He stood up. "Meeting dismissed."
Shea stared at her phone. Eric had called zaidi then twenty times and each time she ignored him. She was way too angry at him to hear his voice. Who did he think he was? He cheated on her with some ugly, frumpy girl. "I gave him the best years of my life and what does he do? He goes and cheats on me."
"I know that is so awful," agreed Terra. "Then Chloe walks around all wide eyed and innocent. Please." Terra and Chloe were getting their nails done at a local nail salon. Pampering herself always made Shea feel better besides dancing.
"Right! I can't believe he would do that."
"And always acts holier then everyone." Terra looked down at her toes. "Eew, gross! I wanted a darker shade au green."
"We have got to do something about Chloe."
"Ooo and I have an idea."
