“Okay, so nothing bad has happened, shouldn’t we be happy?” Iris asked.
I shrugged. “I just can’t stand waiting.”
Stilere picked up the stone. “The stone stopped glowing.”
“Maybe it’s resting,” Iris suggested.
“Yeah, stones should totally rest.” Stilere said, shaking her head.
Right now it was just Iris, Stilere, and I, looking at the glowing stone. Trying to…I don’t know, do something.
“Well…” Iris paused as she opened the book. “Let’s see.”
Taking the stone in her hand, she flipped to a certain page, and with scrunched up eyes read aloud. “Navankas Torunjo.”
The stone glowed in her hand, brightly I must say, it was in a light purplish hue, and illuminated pretty light throughout the room. Beautiful didn’t even begin to describe it.
After those words were said, wewe could feel something happening, I just couldn’t describe what. Then the shabiki went on, as well as the tv, and downstairs I could hear zaidi stuff turning on.
Iris closed her eyes, her fists tightening on the stone. “Turn off.”
Just as suddenly all the electricity turned off, I could hear far away someone swear, and I wondered if the whole neighborhood’s electricity turn off. But right now, I didn’t care.
Stilere grinned. “You didn’t even have to say the words from the book, the stone granted wewe that.”
“And wewe can activate it by…I’m guessing touch.” I voice aloud.
Iris shrugs. “Okay…um…ooh! I know-”
“Just say it already!” Stilere and I yell.
Rolling her eyes, Iris chants. “Beautiful nature let the wanyama sing…” Just as those words were said, beautiful noises bombarded our ears. Birds chirping, mbwa barking a nice melody, Cats meowing, and what-nots, and I was surprised to not be annoyed kwa it.
“Stop.”
Everything went quiet.
“Woah, now that was…”
“Amazing,” I said.
“Here,” Iris handed me the stone. “At least we know it can grant us some kind of protection.”
“Against what?” Stilere muttered, looking out the window.
“That’s an answer I don’t really wanna know,” I said.
*Thanks for reading, please don't copy, hope wewe enjoyed! maoni and mashabiki would be lovely!*
