Renesmee
I sat up. The alarm clock inayofuata to Jacob's kitanda alisema it was six thirty. I ran as fast as I could to the bathroom, barely making it. I heard the rush of footsteps as Jacob and Emily came to my side.
Jesse woke up.
"Sam! Get Jesse!" Emily called downstairs. Jesse was their one-year-old baby. He had short, black hair that stuck out every other direction but down. He had a small, rounded face that displayed a little innocence. His smile was crooked, and it reminded me of my dad a little. The three baby teeth he had made the smile even cuter.
Jacob's hot hand took me out of my thoughts.
"Renesmee, you're freezing, and wewe spent the night under the covers, with me! You're too cold," he said. I shivered. He wrapped his arms around me.
"Renesmee, I think I know what's going on. Carlisle, come in here!" Emily explained. As soon as Carlisle was in the room she started to talk.
"Renesmee, wewe are preganant. There is a part of wewe that will want to kill anybody that threatens wewe au the baby, right? Well, I was watching a documentary on wolves, and it says that the mother will kill anything that threatens the pup. This is strictly mbwa mwitu behavior. I believe this baby has an influence on you. wewe have a new instinct. I felt the same when I was pregnant with Jesse. And, as a bonus, the father never leaves longer than necessary. Jacob, wewe alisema wewe left and then suddenly turned to come back, right? This is influencing you, too."
"She's right," Carlisle spoke, "Renesmee, I noticed your heat signatures are low. Jacob has to be here to keep wewe warm at all times. I also notice your reflexes and senses has improved kwa nearly 100%. You're like a vampire, without the venom and scent. What did the sleeping powder smell like?"
"Well, it smelled sour, with a kind of flat scent. It didn't smell appetizing," I remembered.
"Yes. That's what it smells like to me. I can't understand anything else except for Emily's explaination. Strange."
I felt a tumbling in my stomach, and suddenly I was nautious again. I leaned over the kiti, kiti cha while Jacob held my hair back. Eww.
"Thanks for staying Jake," I moaned. "I know this is gross."
"I don't mind. You're just making me a little edgy. I can't help but worry," he whispered back. Emily handed me a cup of water for me to rinse my mouth. Jacob and Carlisle left. Once Emily and I cleaned up the mess, I saw Emily start a bath, turning the water on hot. I got undressed and sat in the tub.
"How do wewe feel?" Emily asked calmly.
"Warm. And scared. I never thought about this until wewe mentioned mbwa mwitu behavior. I the baby's a boy-"
"Yes. You're worried he may be a mbwa mwitu when he comes of age."
"And, I'm scared we may have another Leah," I breathed.
"It's okay to worry. I worry about Jesse sometimes. Speaking of wolves, I'm surprised wewe knew Nala. I'd just met her. Paul imprinted on her. This happened over spring break. Nala was walking on the beach, pwani when she bumped into Paul. He alisema that was the first time he didn't have to try not to shift. upendo at first sight."
I was speechless.
"Does Nala know?" I asked.
"Well, yes, but she tried to escape from him thinking he was crazy the first time. Trust me, she needed an explanation after Paul suddenly started kissing her."
"Wow."
I looked down, frowning at the small bulge at my stomach. Emily laughed.
"Our children grow rapidly. I was pregnant with Jesse for only six months," she explained.
We talked for half an hour. When the water grew cold, I stood, and wrapped myself in the towel Emily held out for me.
"Um, Emily? wewe know Jake and I are getting married..." I began.
"Yes, what about it?"
"Um... Would wewe like to be my maid of honor? And Jesse the ring bearer?"
"Oh, of course. And I'll get Jesse to practice walking. He's getting good."
I looked at Emily with amazed eyes.
"Like I said, they develop quickly," Emily laughed.
Laughing with her, I said, "Be sure to force Sam into a tux. He's the Best Man."

God and His priests and His kings
All were waiting
All will wait
As they go over
Mmm, held between heaven and hell
As they're dancing
As they dance over and over
Over
Cold
Cold
Crimson and bare as I stand
Yours completely
Yours as we go over
Sing for the lion and kondoo, mwana-kondoo
Their hearts are hunting
Still hearts hold ever and ever
Ever
Cold
Cold
God and His priests and His kings
Turn their faces
Even they feel the cold
Ooooooh, ooooooh
What wewe are given
Can't be forgotten
And never forsaken
What wewe are given
Can't be forgotten
And never forsaken
What wewe are given
Can't be forgotten
Cold
All were waiting
All will wait
As they go over
Mmm, held between heaven and hell
As they're dancing

Cold
Touch me I'm cold, unable to control
Touch me I'm golden and wild as the wind blows
And tumbling, tumbling, don't go fascination
If just for tonight darling, let's get lost
If just for tonight darling, let's get lost
Let me come closer, I'm not your shadow
With our eyes shielded from the oncoming count
It's not hard for us to say what we should not
If just for tonight darling, let's get lost
If just for tonight darling, let's get lost
Touch me I'm cold, unable to control
Touch me I'm golden and wild as the wind blows
And tumbling, tumbling, don't go fascination

An innocent child in New Orleans
A simple girl from simple means
Walked the rails
Rode her thumb
She hitched a ride with everyone
The regular, she’d rearrange
The girl knew how to chop and change
Chop and change (Ooo)
Chop and change (Yeah)
Chop and change (Oh, oh, oh)
Chop and change (Yeah) alright
Took a job working late
Jacking cars from out of state
She found no upendo in this town
So she’d never mess around
Had no luck, but ain’t it strange
The girl knew how to chop and change
Chop and change (Oh, oh)
Chop and change (Come on, come on, come on, come on yeah)
Chop and change (Chop and change)
Chop and change (Oh)
Alright
A simple girl from simple means
Walked the rails
Rode her thumb
She hitched a ride with everyone
The regular, she’d rearrange
The girl knew how to chop and change
Chop and change (Ooo)
Chop and change (Yeah)

Alright
Other lives, always tempted to trade
Will they hate me for all the choices I made
Will they stop when they see me again
I can’t stop now I know who I am
Now I’m all yours, I’m not afraid
And you’re all mine, say what they may
And all your upendo I’ll take to the grave
And all my life starts now
Tear me down, they can’t take wewe out of my thoughts
Under every scar there’s a battle I’ve lost
Will they stop when they see us again
I can’t stop now I know who I am
Now I’m all yours, I’m not afraid
And you’re all mine, say what they may
And all your upendo I’ll take to the grave
And all my life starts
I’m all yours, I’m not afraid

I think I know what’s on your mind
A couple words, a great divide
Waiting in the wings, a small respite
Crowding up the foreground from behind
Even though you’re the only one I see
It’s the last catastrophe
Place your bets on chance and apathy
Take anything wewe want, it’s fine
Keep up the slow life for the night
Don’t take it back, I’ll just deny
This constant noise all the time
Even though you’re the only one I see
It’s the last catastrophe
Place your bets on chance and apathy
From the wind in front of me
Even though you’re the only one I see
It’s the last catastrophe
Place your bets on chance and apathy
From the wind in front of me
Even though you’re the only one I see
A couple words, a great divide
