Chapter 3
Edward’s POV
We went out of the school – cutting classes. Bella was still silent sitting on the front kiti, kiti cha with me. Alice was not with us, she’s riding her Porsche. Every minute, I glanced at Bella. I can’t stand it when she’s in bad mood. I’m uncomfortable when she’s not talking with me.
“Hey, are wewe okay?” I finally managed to ask.
She didn’t respond as if she didn’t hear me. Bella was really good when it comes to ‘pretending’. She didn’t even look at me. She was still staring at the window. Her eyes were expressionless. Her lips pursed.
“Are wewe mad at me?” I asked again.
But still, she didn’t respond. I’ve been with her for about 4 years that’s why I knew it when she’s mad at me. I knew it when she’s hurt. And I knew what will make her happy. But, I don’t think that I can give her what she wants. It’s for Nessie’s sake. Maybe someday, she’ll understand it.
“Bella, will wewe please stop pretending like I’m not here?” I said, irritated.
She covered her ears. She continued to stare at the window, watching the snow.
I entered the La Push reservation, though, I really hate to, because of the werewolves’ scent that makes me wrinkle my nose. Ewww.
Nessie was there waiting for us in the karakana beside the motorcycle. Jacob loves my daughter so I believe that she would never put Nessie on danger, just like riding that stupid motorcycle. I went out and open the door for Nessie. When she got in, I saw her smiling, but then her smile disappeared when she noticed Bella’s mood. I went back the front kiti, kiti cha and start the engine.
The car was silent. Everyone was quiet. No one dare to speak.
We reached home. I went out and opened Nessie’s door. I was about to open Bella’s door but she went out herself. Without a word, she walked hurriedly to the room without speaking.
I followed her. I can’t handle it so I spoke, breaking the silence.
“What’s wrong with you? Are wewe still mad at me?” I asked
She didn’t respond. She laid down the kitanda and covered herself.
“Oh! Come on, Bella? Listen to me – “
She cut me off.
She stood up and looked at me.
“No. wewe listen to me. No one will dare take my daughter away from me, not even wewe Edward. I would never forgive wewe for years.” She alisema seriously.
“Okay, however, years were just sekunde for me.” I said, joking.
“Forever...” she alisema softly.
“What?” I asked, surprised.
She went back to kitanda and covered herself.
Am I wrong?
Will she forgive me?
What the hell is happening to my family?
I don’t know what to do. What’s eating her? I can’t endure this anymore.
I went to Nessie’s room. As I enter the room, Alice was there, explaining something to Nessie. I don’t have time to read her mind so I ignored her.
I explained everything to my daughter though, it hurts to see her sad. As I spoke, I saw tears sliding her face. She covered her eyes. If only there’s a way to convince Aro to stop this foolishness, I’ll do it...
I regretted everything.
She ran directly on the bathroom, sobbing. She locked the door.
I started to knock.
“Nessie, Come on. Talk to me.” I said.
“Noooooooo! I’d rather stay here than be away from mom!” She shouted, loudly. No doubt, Bella heard her.
She went to Nessie’s room, with a key as she opened the bathroom door.
“Nessie...” she whispered.
My daughter was sitting on the floor, her hands wrapped around her legs as I saw the tears running down her face. She was looking at Bella. Her eyes turned to gaze at me, pleading.
I never thought that seeing her crying will break my moyo so much.
“Shhh! Its okay honey...” Bella alisema as she held Nessie and helped her to stand.
She leaned down to face her, wiping her tears as she whispered, “stop crying...”
“M-mommy” Nessie said, crying loudly.
Before Bella could speak, Nessie hugged her tightly, like she was really afraid to lose Bella.
A few seconds, Nessie pulled away. Her face was blank.
We all hesitated. I didn’t really understand what’s happening. Nessie’s mind was full of different thoughts – one for Jacob’s hug, Alice’s new dress, Esme’s new recipe, Rosalie’s gift, Carlisle’s new car and Bella’s bad mood.
Finally, she smiled.
“Am I good in acting?” she alisema jokingly.
She looked at me.
‘Yeah dad, just kidding!’ she thought. I smiled at her, really wanted to laugh out loud.
But then Bella stood up, disappointed. She was about to went out the room, when Nessie stopped her.
“Oh! Come on Mom” – she went on Bella’s side- “actually, Aunt Alice explained everything to me and wewe know what? She promised to visit me every month.” She alisema smiling.
Bella didn’t respond and looked at Nessie.
She’s being difficult again. Her eyes were angry. Her lips pursed. I clenched my teeth.
Bella shook her head, arguing with Nessie.
But my daughter just rolled her eyes.
“Bella….” I wrapped my arms around her waist. In fact, I’m ready when she decided to pull me away but, I can say, she really loves me because she didn’t even songesha an inch away from me.
Finally, she smiled.
“Okay, I lose. wewe both win!” she alisema as she laughed...
She looked at me, gave a quick kiss then looked back to Nessie..
“Renesmee Carlie Cullen...” she said, tenderly touching her hair.
I’m happy to see my family like this again.
Am I dreaming?
I really hope not!

I’m happy to see my family like this again.
