If Michael Sheen isn't doing something biographical, chances are it's supernatural.
He has left his mark on the horror genre as Lucian, the leader of the werewolf rebellion against the aristocratic Wanyonya damu in the Underworld trilogy.
But now he's switching teams as Aro, the head of the Italian vampire cult known as the Volturi in New Moon, the latest big-screen chapter of the Twilight saga that opens Nov. 20.
Why jiunge the bloodsuckers?
"I wanted to see how the other half lived," Sheen explains with a grin. "Or unlived."
Actually, Lily, his 10-year-old daughter with Underworld actress Kate Beckinsale, had something to do with his decision. "She is very, very into the books. I know how obsessive she was about them, so I was already predisposed wanting to be in it."
After he read the first two vitabu himself, Sheen realized why the literary phenom causes teen girls to swoon. "What it has tapped into, at least in the first book, is how it feels to fall in upendo for the first time. I don't think wewe have to be a girl to relate to that.
"The sekunde book captures the utter desolation of losing that first love. I went through that myself, and Stephenie Meyer invokes that brilliantly."
So what kind of vamp is Aro? "I suppose the Volturi are like the royal family of vampires, and while he is zaidi their spokesperson in the books, he is their leader in the film. He's got a sort of regality about him.
"I like the way director Chris Weitz describes him. On the surface, he is very charming and very warm, sort of likable and soft. But underneath, wewe get the sense he is a psychopathic killer. I upendo playing with that idea."

Hey, I'm typing away at nyumbani while my dad takes Mom on an extensive trip to France! Jacob could hardly contain his excitement! Seriously, He's burst into a dog three times- oh, not again Jake! Four times. Anyways, whenever my parents are out, my dad posts up a orodha of rules. Here's what he wrote.
Renesmee,
your mom and I are going to France. Do not take advantage of this with Jacob. Tell Alice where you're going, and DON'T go to La Push. Watch for bears, and don't go anywhere near the hunting zone. No Marafiki over later than 10:00PM unless it's Jacob(even then don't try anything funny.). Jacob is not allowed on your bed(and I don't care if he's in dog form.). Alice will come over to check in on wewe regularly, but call her if wewe need help.
-Dad
Ugh. As if Jake and I would do anything stupid. I think Jake was planning on that, though. Well, I hear Jake break something upstairs. I'm gonna see what he's up to. Later!

-Edward-
As I placed Renesmee's hand in Jacob's, whispered to me, "Thank you."
That took me kwa surprise. As I took my kiti, kiti cha inayofuata Bella, she whispered, too low for the surrounding humans to hear, that she was proud of me.
When it was over, I was convinced myself and Bella had had a less melodramatic ceremony than this. Then again, perhaps it had been even zaidi so.
Alice had gone over-the-top with decorations, not that Renesmee minded. She was unlike Bella in that way. When it was my turn to dance with her, she whispered, "You'll still be my dad."
Again with the dramatics.
When it was Bella's turn, she let me see her thoughts. A special gift. I enjoyed hearing her thoughts.
"This bothers wewe zaidi than you're letting on, Edward. Relax, let it go. She'll be fine," Bella said.
"You know me so well," I grinned at her before Emmett claimed her and I was forced to dance with Rosalie.
