kymya I'm married and let me tell the single young ladies out there. Except nothing less - make sure he is somewhat like Edward Cullen minus the vampire stuff. He should love you, respect you, doesn't cuss at you, protects you from getting hurt and is always well mannered. When you're married for a lifetime (going on 9yrs dated 4 yrs prior) this is all you have. Men get comfortable and some of those attributes go out the door i.e. opening the car for me. Although he keeps the other stuff up like when I'm on the phone (I knew what Bella felt like when Edward did this in Eclipse)or sitting watching a movie at home and he smells or touches my hair... some of my little reminders he is still in Love with me.

jdepp4ever11 Well darkfall22, I see your point, because in some ways, I too feel the same way. But you have to be a little realistic here. And please don't put the blame on me for you waiting for your "true lover" even if you did not intend on doing so.(blaming me I mean) And why would you just want a boyfriend who is like Edward? Why not find someone who you can be with the rest of your life. Not someone who will only be with you for some short amount of time and may even not be there for you in the end. Thats the problem with some teens and even some adults these days. I wish I personly lived in the early 1900's. People were some what more decent and mannerly back then then, they are today. Relationships should be equal. Both the guy and the girl should be will to do anything for EACH OTHER. Sure the guy should protect the girl he loves, but girl should do the same for him, too! Most of this list doesn't make sense to me. It shouldn't matter what he looks like or how much money he has. If you like his personality, you have common interests, and you both get along well, then that's all that matters.
