"mom, i don't wanna live here." i pleaded to my mother who forced me to songesha with her to this god awful town of forks, washington. it's always raining here. it's depressing. just because her job got tranfered here doesn't mean she has to follow. she can get another job!
"love, i know that, but i have a feeling you're gonna end up loving it here!"
"sure, sure. im goin' for a walk." i alisema walking out the door. she alisema something after that but i put in the head-phones to my i-pod before she could finish.
i decided to familiarize myself with the neighborhood. i was looking at the beach, pwani as i walked kwa it. i ran into something that felt like a steaming brick wall. he caught me before i fell. knocking my head-phones out.
"oh,... im sorry." i said. then i looked up and met his eyes. they were small and dark brown, he had a chizeled jaw, and no shati on. he had an endless amount of abs. i realized after a sekunde that i was starring.
"no problem. don't worry about it. um... you're the new girl, heavenly, right?" he asked with the most attractive voice i had ever heard.
"uh, ya, nice to meet you." i shook his hand.
"oh yeah im Jacob Black." we starred at eachother, but it wasn't awkward, it was like meeting the other half of me. the silence was broken, one of the boys behind him caughed intentionally.
"oh ya um these are my friends: Quil Ateara, Embry Call, Seth Clearwater, and Leah Clearwater."
i waved to them all. quil and embry looked similar, both shirtless but not as ripped as Jacob. Seth looked a little younger, zaidi nieve, but even zaidi friendly than the others. finally, i looked to Leah, who had extremely short hair, but still beautiful, intimidiating, and not happy to see me.
"well um... my Marafiki were just leaving, so can i onyesha wewe around?" he asked in a playing manner.
"sure that would be great!" i answered a little too quick. he turned around and glarred at his friends. they left imediately.
we started to walk, and talk," so are wewe gonna be coming to this high school?"
"yes, and im terrified." i laughed, he did too.
"i don't think there's anything to be afraid of here, people on the reserve are really close."
"oh yeah?"
"yeah, um... the reserve is so small that half the school is related. haha." he laughed the most glorious laugh. he had to be at least 6'7. i kinda think we looked good together. both the same black hair, dark brown eyes. what was i thinking. someone as beautiful as that could never like me.
we talked and talked.
"well this is the beach, pwani again. it's pretty quiet here most of the time due to weather."
"has anyone ever told wewe that wewe have the prettiest eyes?" O MY GOD! DID I JUST SAY THAT ALOUD? WHAT WRONG WITH ME?
"haha, well um... no one every been that straight mbele about it."
"im sorry i didn't realized i alisema that aloud." im such a dork. he laughed though. with me.
"it's alright. wewe wanna sit down?" he asked, pointing to a bench. we went to sit down.
"im really embarrassed that i just alisema that."
"alright well has anyone ever told wewe that wewe have a perfect nose?" he asked me. i blushed so hard that i thought my cheeks would pop.
"there now we both feel the same."
"you know jacob when i first saw wewe this afternoon i-"
"JACOB BLACK!" yelled this amazingly beautiful girl with red eyes and purple circles under them.
"im sorry heavenly, just give me a second." he alisema as he got up and went to talk to this girl about ten yards away. i couldn't hear any of the conversation until this:
"YOU KNOW WHAT JACOB, wewe JUST BROKE MY DAUGHTER'S HEART! SHE'S BEEN NOTHING, BUT GOOD TO wewe AND wewe REPAY HER kwa RUNNING AROUND WITH THIS TRAMP?" she yelled. jacob didn't seem to mind it until she called me a tramp.
"YOU KNOW WHAT ISABELLA?" he was shaking furiously, trying to control himself, "YOU AND YOUR BRATTY, BLOODSUCKER,BABY CAN BOTH GO TO HELL!"
I was shocked. isabella stormed off before loosing control. Jacob's shaking slowed. when he seemed ok he came back over to me.
"what did wewe mean bloodsucker baby?" i asked him.
"don't mind any of that ness- heavenly." he had caught himself before saying another name.
"i need wewe to know that no matter what happens, ill never hurt you!"
"ya, um... do wewe mind explaining to me what the hell that was about?" i asked almost hostil.
"ill explain tomorrow, ill um.... come pick wewe up alright? it's getting late, i have something really important to do, i should get wewe home." he alisema running on anxiously.
"ok." he grabbed my hand and walked me home, we talked about other things on the way nyumbani and kwa the time we got there he was.... happy again.
"Heavenly, i know your kinda... confused about what happened on the beach, ill tell wewe the whole thing, it's just a long story. i really have to go now." he explained nervously.
"wait! jacob, i have a feeling that things will work itself out, just, i have to tell you.... i really, really like you." i alisema completely worried about what he would think.
suddenly, he leaned down to kiss me, i think. ya he did. our lips were an inch apart when-
"HHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWLLLLLLLLL!!!!!" I jumped when i heard some kind of animal howl.
"ya, i really have got to go," he alisema pulling away from me. i was devastated.
"sorry, heavenly ill see wewe tomorrow. bye"
"bye" he ran off to the woods, which is where the sound was coming from.
i walked in, "im nyumbani mom."
"well wewe were out for a while, did wewe meet any new friends?" she asked suspiciously almost.
"uh, ya. his name is Jacob Black, and some of his friends. i think their names were embry, quil, seth, and leah. they're pretty cool. um Jake is coming to pick me up tomorrow if that's ok." i sort of asked.
"i guess. is this Jacob boy cute." she asked in the nosiest tone.
"good-night ma!" i ran up stairs
the rest of the night i just wondered about Jacob: why i was so attached to him? what was that whole thing on the beach, pwani about? why didn't Leah seem to like me? the sooner i got to sleep the sooner i'd find out i guess.
