~Fix You~ (song kwa Coldplay)
A short time after chajio, chakula cha jioni Mason fell asleep. He talked to Edward the whole time he ate, leaving me no time to talk to Edward myself untill he had passed out. I'm not complaining. I just can't believe Mason took to him so easly...like he had known him since he was born.
"Thank you." I smiled at Edward through my wine glass.
"No problem. After all, it wasn't really thank hard to make." He chuckled.
"That's exactly why I'm thanking you. wewe fixed what wewe did because of Mason." I stoked my sons hair as I looked down at him.
"I would do it again anytime." Edward alisema softly.
"Thank wewe for coming."
"Thank wewe for having us." I replied. "I'm sorry Mason keeps talking your ear off. He's never done it to anyone he has just met."
"You have nothing to apoligize for. I enjoy learning about him." He smiled. "He's....interesting."
"He's five." I smiled.
"That's what I said." Edward nodded.
I laughed and took another sip of my wine. "How was your day? did wewe think about...her...any?"
He shook his head and took a swig of his beer. "Not untill now." He sighed.
"Memories fade, Edward. They don't stay there forever. You're going to keep forgetting but wewe will never fully forget. I'm sure she understands." I wispered.
He nodded, his eyes not meeting mine.
I placed my hand on his cheek and he looked up at me. "I know what you're going through. It's hard. I know, but wewe can't stop it. wewe can't delay it. It just happens. And it's okay."
"I just keep telling myself I'm breaking my promise."
"I broke my promise a long time ago. I know he understands because it just happens and I know Sara will..does too." I dropped my hand to lay on his shoulder.
"I need to be fixed,"
"I will try to fix you."
He nodded, placing his hand on mine.
"I should get him home." I wispered.
"Okay." He stood up, taking my wine glass and set it on the table. I bent over to pick up Mason but he stopped me.
"I can get him. He's probably heavy."
"Edward-" I tired to stop him but Mason already had his arms around Edward's neck.
Edward winked and smiled and followed me to the door and out to my car. He placed Mason in his booster kiti, kiti cha and buckling him in and as quietly as possible, closing the door.
"We had a great time tonight." I smiled and played with my keys.
"So did I." Edward smiled.
"Thank you, again."
"Thank you." Edward bent down and kissed my head and started his way back to his apartment.
What would make Bella happy?
"Edward!" I yelled.
He turned around and I ran over to him. "I'm redoing Mase's room Saturday. Would wewe help? Do all the...manly stuff?"
Edward smiled. "I would upendo to."
I smiled back and bit my lip. I noticed he was leaning forward, as was I. No, I was being pulled toward him. I turned my face a sekunde before he kissed me. "I'm sorry." I wispered.
"Just say when." He touched my cheek and turned back around, walking back into his building.
I took a deep breath, and walked back to my car.
I had just closed the door when Mason stired. "Momma?" He asked.
"Yes, baby?" I looked in my rearview mirror.
"I like, Edward." He told me before drifting back off.
"Me, too." I wispered, and started the car, making my way back to our own apartment.
Edward POV
I was getting ready to go over to Bella's today. Alice had Mason so she was buy herself. Yes, I was nervous. Very nervous. We had lunch yesterday at work and actually got to talk. I learned her inayopendelewa color is green, place to eat-anything Italian, inayopendelewa book-Wurthering Hights, inayopendelewa movie-Romeo and Juliet, inayopendelewa flower-Ruffled tulips. The basics.
I fed EJ-my very spoiled German Shepherd- and left to go to Bella's. Since we would be painting, I threw on a black wife beater, a black v-necked t and a pair of old ripped up jeans.
I parked my Volvo, ran my hands threw my hair a couple times and talked up to her door. I didn't even have to knock before she swung open the door.
"Hi." She smiled. "Come in." I steped into her doorway and she closed the door. "His kitanda room is on the sekunde floor." She started up the stairs and I followed after.
She opened a door to a room covered kwa drop cloth, paint splotches and covered funiture. "Okay, I need your help. He's really into boats right now so that's what we are going to do. I have light blue, sky blue and dark blue. Which one?"
"Um.."I slooked at all three of them, notcing only a difference in the dark and light blues. "Sky blue." I finally decided.
"That's what I thought too." She smiled and turned around to poor the paint into the trays.
I took the opertunity to take off my t, not caring to get paint on my wife beater.
"Okay," She turned around to hand me a brush. she sucked in a breath and continued. "You get the juu half of the walls and I will get the bottom."
She went to paint on the other side of the room, while I just started where I was.
"You asked me all the maswali yesterday, now it's my turn." she said. "What's wewe farovite color?"
"Blue." I smiled. I loved that color on her.
"Favorite book?"
"One Flew Over the Coocoo's Nest."
"Favorite....movie?"
"Same as the book." I smirked.
"Favorite food?"
"Pasta's."
"Your hero?" She was standing right beside me now paiting the juu half of the walls. My spot.
I thought for a moment. "You."
Her paint roller stopped and she stared at me. "What?"
"You're my hero." I shrugged. "You raised Mason on your own, graduated high school and college with him. You're still on your own and you're still blowing my mind."
I could see the tears welling in her eyes. "Thank you." She wispered.
She began rolling paint again, yet again a silence. I smiled and ran my finger over my roller. I turned to Bella and ran the paint down her nose.
"Edward!" She gasped and turned to me.
I couldn't help but doubling over in laughter.
She set her lips and ran her whole hand over her roller, then pushed her hand against my cheek. "Now there's a whole hand print." Bella smirked.
I grabbed her around the wist and begand to tickle her. "Edward!" She squirmed, laughing. "Stop."
"I don't know." I smiled.
"Please!" She laughed.
I let go but she began to fall so I grabbed her again and held her to me. I heard her breathing hault and her smile dissapear as she looked up at me. Her eyes never left mine, though her hand rose up to touch my cheek. We stayed like that for a moment before her lips parted.
"When." She wispered.
"What?"
"When." She stated again and stood on her tip toes to reach my mouth. "When. when. When." She wispered and kissed me.

Stewart had some apprehensions about shooting that scene. She didn't want the scenario of two teens, one being a vampire who happens to be many years older than his facade of 17, deciding to marry one another to look silly au unbelievable.
"Well, to decide you're gonna marry someone at 18 is a pretty hefty decision," she told MTV News from the red carpet of the premiere of her new movie, "The Yellow Handkerchief." "And I didn't want to look stupid. I didn't want it to look like kids getting married. wewe know what I mean?"
Stewart alisema she had to find an emotional space that allowed her to make a teenage engagement seem plausible. "I wanted to be, like, 'Oh! Wow! I would say yes too!' wewe know what I mean? So I don't know how wewe do that. wewe try to do it for real, and it felt good. I hope it turned out alright."
