She could have been zaidi well-rounded ★: We get to see a lot of personality traits from her in the movie that make her a complex character, and that really helps carry the story along. I wouldn't say she goes through a huge amount of development as such; she wants something to happen, she goes through a lot of scenarios to get there, and eventually has her happy ending, but her actual character is pretty consistent.
