Moonlight: Chapter 1: Eleven Moons Later.....

A pair of Dark blue eyes searched the clearing. The mti was about six wolf-lengths away. He could make it. The light gray cat looked around once more, then sprinted as fast as he could to the tree. He had almost made it when something tawny and furry dropped down onto his shoulders.
Owltalon watched from on juu of the mti as Wolfpaw ran. His tawny pelt hid him almost entirely in the sunset shadows. He had planned this attack carefully and could not afford to mess it up. He crouched and prepared to spring.
