"BARBARY COAST" (1935) Review

I have seen a good number of televisheni and movie Westerns in my time. But I find it rather odd that it is hard - almost difficult - to find a well known story set during the California dhahabu Rush era. And I find that rather surprising, considering many historians regard it as one of the most interesting periods in the history of the American Old West.

When I first set out to discover how many of mwandishi Louis L'Amour novels had been adapted for the sinema and television, I had assumed at least a handful had gone through this process. I was surprised to discover that many of his works had been adapted. And one of them turned out to be the 1982 televisheni movie, "THE SHADOW RIDERS".

"CALIFORNIA" (1947) Review

I am a history nut. And one of my inayopendelewa historical periods that I upendo to study is the Antebellum Era of the United States. One of my inayopendelewa topics from this period is the California dhahabu Rush. I also upendo movies. But despite this love, I have been constantly disappointed kwa Hollywood's inability to create a first-rate movie about dhahabu Rush.
