I woke up one morning in my den,the sun was shining in and blinding my eyes. I decided to get up and walk outside,and when I did,there was a bleeding mbwa mwitu on the ground a few trees away. I hurried over there and looked the mbwa mwitu over,trying to see what happened. Because the wolf's eyes were closed,I nudged the fallen mbwa mwitu in the neck. His eyes opened slowly,and when he saw me,his eyes grew wide and he figeted to get up;he whimpered. "A-are wewe okay?" The unknown mbwa mwitu didn't respond and a backed away and sat down. I figured that he was nervous that a stranger was staring at him. I tried again, "Uhh,are wewe okay??" His voice was very breathy when he said, "Yeah..who are you? Where am I?"
"Im Marceline,and you're in my pack grounds...but Im the only one here," I alisema and smirked. "Now who are you?"
"Oh..Im Ski." (pronounced sky) He blushed then,and said,"Yeah..I know..sucky name for a guy." I smiled and said, "I like it." He smiled back,and I suddenly remembered a vital fact: he's hurt.
"Oh shoot...what can I do to help you?!"
"Umm...water for the scars?"
"How do I get the water??"
"Crud,I dunno..the only thing I can think of is your mouth.." He looked at me with a look in his eyes that said, "Please..not your mouth."
I looked around and saw an old cup from when a few humans camped out here a few years ago. I ran over to get it,filled it up with water from our lake,and brought it over to him and set it down.
"Is this good enough?"
"Yeah,perfect."
I gently poured the water all over his wounds,and he winced from the cold and the pain,and tossed the cup into my pango in case I needed it again. He looked up at me,smiled gently,and said, "Thank you." I nodded and said, "No problem.Now do wewe think wewe can stand up?" "Nope," and he frowned. I thought for a sekunde and said,"You know your gonna have to stay here for awhile,right? Cuz' there's no way in heck I'm letting wewe leave with scars like that," and I nodded at his wounds. He smiled and said,"Yep." I smiled back and looked into his deep blue eyes and immediatly thought of a sunny sky. Beautiful,I thought. I already have a crush on him and I just met him. I grinned.
