Can someone tell me how I should write my story? (let a character tell it au should I tell it?)

Okay, in the words of an editor, if a character is going to tell the story then A character should tell the story. As in, you'll have to pick one. I was surprised to hear this too. I was at a writer's conference and I was chosen to have a meeting with an editor. It was really cool! But one of the things she told me, was that when telling a story from a character's perspective wewe should only have one character tell the story because it can be awkward for a reader. JUST WHEN wewe start liking to hear what the character thinks and wewe start getting to REALLY know them, wewe are yanked out of their skin and forced to live inside a completely different perspective. Obviously a lot of writers use zaidi than on character's point of view in one story, but I'm just quoting what I know. :) It's up to wewe of course, wewe ARE the writer. wewe could write it in third person. It has some 'ups' like how wewe can get inside several people's heads and see what is going on in other parts of the story. Harry Potter is written in third person... But it DOES NOT allow wewe to get that really deep connection wewe would get if it was in first person. Because in first person wewe know EXACTLY how the character feels about absolutely EVERYTHING. Sorry, I'm rambling. Once again, it's your call. Think about how wewe want the story to sound and make a decision. Make a pros and cons orodha if needed.

Personally, I like kusoma stories from the character's point of view. wewe get to see the character's emotions and how they think, wewe know? What their character is like.
