Shaun

About an saa after she called me, I was still sitting there. Unresponsive.

The phone rang again. I forced myself to pick it up.

It was Serena. She was crying.

"I couldn't do it," she said, before hanging up again.

Serena

I couldn't do it. As soon as I was out of the clinic, I drove home. When I'd parked my car, I couldn't hold the tears back.

I looked up, shocked. I had gone to my mother's house.

I stumbled out of the car, and my mother came running out. I collapsed in her warm arms, still sobbing.

Kate

I hear my daughter. Crying. I run outside, and hug my angel, my little angel.

I don't try to make her tell me what's wrong. She'll tell me when she wants to. I know her that well.

I walked over there my very first thoughts were Thor. But it wasn’t. I walked over there and saw Ethan I opened the window. He pushed his way passed me without saying a word; he lay on my kitanda and started to breathe slowly. “What the...” I alisema looking at him but he didn’t even look back at me he just stayed there. I walked over and sat on the bed. “Well” I said. “Shh, I have a major headache” he alisema rubbing his temples. I smacked him on his chest and for a sekunde I let it lie there and then he looked at me. “So what happened?” he alisema smiling a smug smile. “What do you...

This is the rough draft of the first chapter of "Beyond a Dream" It's a book that I'm currently uandishi but it would nice to get some feedback about it. Its long but hope wewe like it!

Chapter 1

“What! We’re moving?!”

Aria stares at her father, Thomas, with disbelief and utter horror. Thomas sat in his inayopendelewa seat; a maroon armrest chair with soft kind of fabric that made it hard not to touch. His shoulder length silver layered hair and black framed glasses that went over his gray eyes made him look like the plain glasses business man that he was. Aria stood in the middle of their living...

Why does life seem to be getting zaidi and zaidi confusing? People always told me, "You will understand once wewe grow up." Now, I do not agree in any way with those people. Breakups, your friend dumping you, getting in trouble, those are all things that happen basically everyday today. Before, when I was a little girl, people always fussed over me, took care of me, were Marafiki with me forever, it seemed. What happened? Why is this happening to me? I want to ask that. But no one seems to know the answer. Especially when we see fights out, we know that fog is drifting into our minds. I don't like this at all. I want the fog to lift. But it doesn't seem to be happening...not today, au ever. Everything seems to be staying the way it is right now: confusing, awkward, new to us. I really hope that one siku something will change. But...for now, the future isn't bright. Not in any way I see it.

Freedom stood tall,
Bravely waving in the air,
Hoping all could be reminded
Of his courage

Freedom stood
In the midst of war,
Never before standing so bravely still
Even during hard times

Fighting England, his enemy
He stood, wearing
His Red, White, and Blue apparel
Freedom stood tall, waiting for an end to slavery
Waiting for a start for freedom

Freedom stood...
To remind his people to stand up for their rights
And Freedom broke away from his shackles
Freedom broke away from his worst enemy

I was outside. It was hot and sunny. About summer time, I was guessing. Beside of me set an old room. It was in ruins. I studied it for a moment, and then it hit me.
The room was the one I had been in when I put the kisu through my heart. I walked over to it, and ran my hand over the charred remains.
It started to rain, sprinkling at first, and then it became harder. I took shelter in the room, half of the roof still stood.
The sun was in the eastern part of the sky, and it was raining in the west. I saw a upinde wa mvua emerging...

I went back to the motel after Lucy left. I never did figure out why she was running. inayofuata time I saw her I would ask…Hopefully I would see her again.
Damien is all alone alisema a voice. I shook my head, as my hands began to shake and my moyo raced.I sat on the creaky motel bed. It was cold, and hard. I didn’t care though. I was too emotionless to care. I didn’t feel like I was apart of this world. The walls and furniture were only an illusion, and this was my hell. I had already died. Maybe if I died in hell I would be officially dead.

I paced around the room, Alexander would be nyumbani in a few minutes. I was going to tell him what happened between Grey and me. I was nervous, but I had to do it. It wasn’t fair of me not too.
“Alexander, I know this is bad, but I must tell you,” I practiced aloud, staring at the empty wall. “I slept with Grey, and I know I shouldn’t have done it, but she seduced me. I tried to say no, but I was too weak. I really tried, though. Please, please forgive me Alexander. We can work it out, I know we can,” I thought I was doing really well; I prayed he would forgive...

Another poem kwa me. This one came out kinda lame, but I'll let the rating be the judge (assuming there will be any).

That Girl

Have wewe seen that girl,
That goes around here and there?
Nobody knows where she’s going,
Is she even going somewhere?

Pretty face, pretty hair,
Nobody knows her name,
She seems sad, what a coincidence,
I’ve been feeling the same.

She seems lost,
Doesn’t even know where she’s from,
I’m a nice guy so I invite her,
To stay in my home.

She seats in the couch,
My, is she pretty?
I wonder what I can say,
To comfort that girl , so dreamy.

Sarah,
She tells me it’s her name,
She feels sad,
Funny,
Because I’ve been feeling the same

hujambo there, everyone! It's the start of a brand new year, and I know we all have brand new ideas for our lives. That is why I want to open this mwaka up with the first ever fanpop poetry contest! It's basic and simple, because everyone can write poetry, and it's short which means everyone can read all of the submissions in a brief period of time, whereas stories may take longer. However, if you're a story-writer (I sympathize), never fear! If this contest goes well, I may sponsor a fanpop Short Story Contest afterwards.

Established Rules
1) Any piece of poetry is accepted, so long as it is not...

In a town called Millrace, there were two Japanese teenagers named Keiko and Hideki. They’ve known each other their whole lives. They’ve been faithful, loyal and kept each others secrets. But they’ve never planned of falling in love.
When midnight came, Keiko left her Grandmother’s house to meet with Hideki in the mountains.
“Come on, Hideki! You’re slower than a turtle!” Keiko halfway joked while climbing the mountain with him. “Am not,” Hideki scoffed. “I can see the view already, we’re almost there!” Keiko added excitedly. When they reached the juu of the mountain,...
