"Mother what's happening? I don't want to leave father." Ciara alisema getting dragged kwa her wrist kwa her mother.

"It will be all explained later, but I need wewe to hide in the tunnels for now."

"Mother. NO! I want to stay with father."

"And then what? Be killed! wewe see if father dies wewe need to be safe. Now go." Her mother alisema as she gave her to the maid of the house.

"Make sure wewe take good care of her." Her mother alisema as she turned to leave

I will protect her with my life. Your grace." The maid alisema taking Ciara down the staircase which lead to the hidden tunnels

As the maid and Ciara leave down the tunnel Ciara starts to mumble to herself.

“I'm a big girl. I can fight along side my father in battle.”

“You stay here, I will come back with the news of the battle.” the maid alisema turning away from Ciara.

“Stay here. Stay safe. Go hide. Don't cry. Who do they think I am.” Ciara said

A few hours go kwa and Ciara soon fell asleep.

“Ciara, wake up.” the maid alisema as she gently nudged Ciara on the arm.

“What. What happened?” Ciara alisema as she slowly got up from the cold and dark ground.

“It's over. We have won the battle.” The maid alisema but with a very grim expression on her face.

“Wha...What's wrong. We won right? Were's my father?” Ciara said

“Even though we won. Your father was a brave man and he.....didn't make it.”

“NO! Thats not true. I don't believe you. Your lying!” Ciara alisema as she rushed passed the maid.

“Father! Father! Where are you?” Ciara alisema searching the court yard grounds for her loved one. That's when she noticed her mother. She was sitting in the middle of the courtyard on her knees. Crying.

Ciara slowly walked over to her mothers side.

This was the first time she has ever seen her mother cry.

“No this can not be happening.” Ciara had thought to herself

She ran into the ngome to her room rushing past all the maids and workers. Slamming her door behind her and letting her pillows soak up all her tears.

Knock-knock

“Go away.” brushing the tears off her face

Her mother slowly peaked around the door and walked in and sat on the edge of the kitanda right inayofuata to Ciara.

“It's going to be ok, Honey.” Her mother whispered in her ear.

“HOW CAN wewe SAY THAT! Fathers dead and were the only ones left to keep the kingdom!” Ciara yelled

“We have to be calm and now we have to start your training.” Her mother said

“My training?”

“Yes, as princess of Relisira wewe will need to know how to protect yourself when no one is around.”

“But i'm only10 years old. I don't know anything about fighting au protecting.”

“You will learn my daughter and wewe will become brave just like your father. Do wewe understand.”

“Yes mother. I do.” Ciara alisema as she watched her mother leave the room.

~ 5 years later~

“Ok, I give up Leo. Where is that boy?”

“Ha, got you.” Leo alisema sneaking up behind Ciara holding a sword at her throat

“I'm done practicing today. I need a break.” Ciara she shrugging Leo off of her.

The subject of Rowan stopped the chewing of pizza and sipping of soda. Everyone at my sleepover knew I had had a HUGE crush on him for a really, really long time. Finally, someone spoke. It was my best friend, Liz. “Um, Victoria, how do wewe expect this plan to work out? I mean, wewe know...” Liz had always been sensitive about the boy, even though they’d ended a 2-year relationship almost 7 months ago, she still wasn’t over him. Someone else replied, kwa saying “Um, Liz? Hun? wewe BROKE UP WITH HIM LIKE, 7 MONTHS AGO! wewe really need to songesha on.” I shifted uncomfortably. I hated when...

Cameron faced me. "Huh?"

"I said", my eyes focused on Mercury. "Could wewe give us some privacy?"

"I could, but I don't want to."

I scowled.

"It's fine Mercury, I'll see wewe later." Cameron kissed her on the cheek.

The sight stung the back of my eyeballs.

She smiled at him, glared at me, and left.

Cameron faced me again. "Now what did wewe want?"

"I want to know why the hell you're tongue was in that..bitch's mouth", I yelled. I had never used profanity before, but it felt good.

"Because she's my girlfriend."

"No, I'm your girlfriend!"

"Correction, wewe were my girlfriend."

" 'Were'? What do wewe mean 'were'?...

The Tower of London is notorious for it's ghost stories. Its where I live. I get to go to the White Tower whenever I want. I get to hang round the St. Peter ad Vincula chapel. And sometimes, I can get Marafiki in for free. But this, this is my story. My name is Tallulah, Tara to my friends, family, and you. And this is my tale of terror in the Tower.

I had gotten back from Tudor History with my tutor. I was pretty exhausted, as I had been on a walking tour and class. And I had been called in to help a guided tour, that's the kind of thing we get when we live here. It's only a few of us, but we...

Aria Glass sat on juu of her house with an unopened bia in her hand and her eyes on the sky. It was a beautiful night and Toby and Jared where at it again. Jared had become zaidi quick-tempered than usual, barking at almost everything. Neither boy’s where good at their temper control and over the years Aria had learned to let boys be boys and fight it out themselves. But Aria could take them both, Aria smirked at this thought, true au not they would never hurt her.
But she did hate it when they fought, although...

"...So there's no way you're taking Cosette nyumbani if she doesn't want to!" Echo shouted across the kitchen. She's been ranting for about ten dakika straight. It even frightened me. Asteria seemed surprised, but calm. That scared me too. Was she so certain I was coming nyumbani no matter what? Echo paused for a couple moments, trying to regain her breath. She looked at me. "You... aren't leaving, are you?" I looked at Asteria, and sighed.

"No," I alisema firmly. Asteria's eyes saddened a little bit.

"Please?" she whispered. My moyo ached at her sadness. I was stuck between her, and my life here. But...

The inayofuata day, I had no choice but to go to school. My Marafiki looked at me with concerned looks, but I tried to ignore that. We all stood around in front of the school, waiting to be let in before the first bell.

"How wewe doing?" Chasity asked. I shrugged.

"Did wewe hear?" Axel said, his eyes wide with interest.

"Hear what," Liberty said.

"The kids they took in weren't the real shooters. They had their alibis. And no one ever really saw the shooters; they were disguised au something. So that means---"

"The real shooters are still here," jogoo finished. Everyone shifted uncomfortably.

"Well why...

June sat inayofuata to me. She put her head into her hands. I wasn't expecting that, I pat her back.

I was sitting. Doodling on a notepad with a purple pen and sitting on my inayopendelewa green beanbag chair.

“Oni, Oni!”(Oh-nee) Yelled my eldest sister June as she jogged into my room oh so gracefully. I sat upright, noticing that I was slouching again.

'Sit up straight au you’re gonna get a crooked spine and spend the rest of you’re life in a wheelchair.' I mocked my Mom’s frequent nags. She’s a Chiropractor, wewe know how they are.

“What is it my Lovely sister dear?” I asked June snidely while rolling my eyes.

You see, I haven’t been in the best mood these past few months. I...

I got to the motel around ten that night. I paid forty dollars for two nights. I figured I could find an apartment kwa then. At least I hoped I could.
I now sat on the side of a bank over looking a river. Lucy sat beside of me, getting all the latest drama from my life. She was almost like my therapist. I knew I was supposed to be hers, but it wasn‘t the best arrangement.
“Love sucks, Lucy,” I alisema while rubbing my eyes. I had just told her about what happened between Alexander and me.

“Good morning,” he said, handing me a cup of coffee.
“Thanks,” I alisema taking a sip. It was just the way I like it, black.
“You may want to get dressed,” Alexander said, eyeing my stomach. I pulled up the sheet.
“Why? Clothes are so restricting,” I said. There was no point in getting dressed. I needed to avoid Grey as long as possible. She would be pissed.

Grey pulled away from the house. I sat inside on the couch. Our house had deep brown walls, and light brown hard-wood floors. There were knick-knacks everywhere. Pictures of Grey’s family hung on the walls. None of mine, though, I prefer to keep mine in my suitcase.
It may seem odd, but I keep all my belongings in my suitcase. I’m afraid if I unpack something bad will happen.
The brown kitanda I sat on, and musty smell of the house grew old on me. I walked outside to the front porch. It was one of the nice, white, wrap-around...

I woke up to a gloomy day. The reaping. I sigh, and get out of bed. I get dressed in a blue dress. I look into the mirror. My mom comes into the room, and braids my black hair. Everyday, she tells me I kubeba a strong resemblance to my father, but she never tells me who he is. "You look remarkable!" she says. She sighs. "Isabella Everdeen... I hope that name isn't pulled"

Chapter 3

In front of me was a world like no other. Danny called it BOES but it was nowhere near being a building. There were trees everywhere. In the distance were a couple mountains. There were so many plants, trees, flowers, lakes, ponds, and hills that it could almost be described as a fairy world. I almost thought it was a fairy world from seeing a bunch of pretty mermaids in the ponds, gigantic moto breathing dragoni in the sky, naiads, centaurs, and many zaidi mythological wanyama that I can’t name. There were even real animals, like elephants and cats, cheetahs,...

Chapter 2: “Ilia,” he whispered into my ear as we walked across the soft meadows surrounding the manor, “how magnificent your beauty is.” Arik’s words curling around me seducing me completely, he had been doing so since the moment he arrived. “Please sit,” he asked as he took my dainty hands into his large rough ones. Today I had worn green to emphasize the one feature about myself I cherished the most, though he begged to differ. I sunk into the grass, soft like moss still holding his hand ever so lightly. He kneeled beside me, chasing away the strands of hair that flickered...

The darkness, it is something i have allways been afraid of, somthing that would always catch me in the end. But sometimes the darkness, is safer than the real world.

I was coming to, but i stayed still, and hoped it was all a dream, i prayed for some sort of dream, a nightmare. Anything. I breathed in the air, i whimpered. No pancakes. just grease, and dust. i opened my eyes, and quickly glanced around the cafe, i notticed some of the tables and chairs were upturned, and i could hear harsh...
