THE LEGEND OF THE VAMPIRE PRINCESS:
THE LEGEND COMES TO LIFE

CHARPTER1:STARSTRUCK

nyota
16 YEARS LATER

I woke to a brisk summers morning in a small town just outside of New York City in my parents best friend Kachiri and her daughter Quinns apartment.Kachiri has been looking after me since i was a baby since my parents had died in a car accident when i was very younge and i had no other family,Kachiri alisema my parents wanted her to look after me anyway.

As i got out of kitanda to go downstairs i made my way into my bathroom brushed my hair, cleaned my teeth and examined the sapphire dragon that streached from my eyebrow all the way to the bottom of my jaw.Kachiri alisema it was like a birthmark in someways but when i asked her how i had gotten it she changed the subject so i choose not to believe her. When i made my way down the hall i meet Kachiri coming out of her room she gave me a smile so i greeted her."Good morning Kachiri."she was making her way into the jikoni when she called over her shoulder."Good morning Star, what would wewe like for breakfast mayby my famous blueberry pancakes." now that got me thinking Kachirir never made her special pancakes unless something bad has happened au is going to happen."Well do wewe want them au not." my head snapped up to see Kachiri kwa the stove waiting for my answer."Um..since when do u make your pancakes for breakfast." she looked confused then said."Since its your 16th birthday today nyota didn't wewe remember." and with that she turned back to the stove and left me to my thoughts could i have really forgotten my 16th birthday.

When Kachiri gave me my pancakes she sat opposite me deep in thought staring of into space when she startled me kwa saying."There are some things i have to tell you.""i know wewe do." i replied with a smile but horror croosed her face so i said."What.. whenever wewe make pancakes wewe have to tell me something." she let out a breath and relief washed over her."There are many things i have to tell wewe so please don't talk until i am finished." she alisema seriously so i just nodded and she started."First i want to tell wewe about me and Quinn. You know those stories i used to tell wewe about the people of a secret kingdom with witches, people who could change into wanyama and vampires, well to make it less complecated.Me and Quinn are shapeshifters." i choked back a bit of pancake when she alisema that and said."You mean you....and Quinn can turn into an animal." "Well not just any animal it would depend on the characteristics of the person looking mostly like the animal.Let me try and make this simpler i have long black hair and amber coloured eyes so i can turn into a black lion the lion gyne runs in my family." "But lions are not black." i alisema questionably she gave a soft smile."Yes well because the lion gyne runs down my family line it does not matter what colour your hair is i would still be a lion anyway." "So that would make Quinn a white lion because of her white hair and blue eyes." "Thats right." Starlted i turned to see Quinn just coming through the jikoni door she smiled and came and sat beside me."Freaked out yet." She asked her usuall self as always cocky, attitude problem wewe get the picture."Quinn this is not a time to mess around. The inayofuata thing i am about to tell wewe neither wewe au Quinn know about okay." me and Quinn both nodded so she continued."What i am about to tell you,you cannot tell anyone understand.Right well nyota your parents are not dead they did not die in a car accident when wewe were a baby they live in a kingdom kept secret from the outside world because the thing about your parents and the people of the kingdom there not how should i say this.....normal.""What do wewe mean.""What i mean is nyota is that your parents are vampires. The rest of the kingdom varies from Wanyonya damu to witches and to shapeshifters.""So does that make me a vampire." i was shaking now how could i be a vampire i have never even drank blood once in my life."Yes it does.""But i have never had blood before." i saw sympathy in Kachiris eyes when she said."You may be a vampire but with Wanyonya damu from the royal family they dont really have to drink blood as long as they wear a speacial amulet au ring all the time like the ring wewe have." Kachiri gave me my ring when i was 10 years old its square with a dragon claw on each corner with a dragon forming the band that holds it on your finger but in the dragoni claws was a huge sapphire."How is this supposed to help.""Vampires cannot go out in the sunlight without a ring au amulet with a gemstone they will turn to ash in the sun.""But even before wewe gave me this ring i was going outside." i questioned her she sighed."You did not burn up in the sun because even though wewe are of royal blood your powers protected you.""What are wewe talking about what powers. And what do wewe mean kwa the royal family what has this got to do with me." i was close to tears how could this be happening ,why me?

"Star there is a legendary story to explain all of this would wewe like me to tell you.""Yes." was all i could say."It all started at the ball of the anniversery of your parents rule as the vampire King and Queen it was beautiful with chandeliers of a thousand crystals hanging from the ceilingand the dancers twirling to the muziki on the dance floor. The King and Queen where inaonyesha wewe to the gusests when the lights flickered on and off and a chandilier crashed to the floor, when the guests started to part and your parents quickly saw why a creature with the head of a snake, body of a tiger and tail of a nge was approaching them and as it did wewe began to glow a glow so bright it was almost blinding. The creature stopped a few ffeet away from your parents and spoke a prohpecy:

'The child of the Resmussens,
When turned sixteen,
Will have to furfill her destiney,
For the fate of the world is in her hands,
As she will lead four to the final stand.'

"And with that the creature prohecised that wewe nyota would be the one to lead four others to save the world but he also left a reminder so no one would forget so the creature with a paw traced a line down the right side of your face giving wewe a dragon tattoo and powers beyond your amagination. And as the creature stepped back your glow dimed and the creature dissapeared never to be seen au heard of again."she finished and i had a lot of questions."Why is it called a legend if im still alive.""The people of the kingdom call it a legend because they have Lost faith in wewe ever returning to the kingdom.""So let me get this straight...im a vampire princess who has to save the world with powers i don't even know about au how to use."Kachiri just smiled at me then said."Well for starters i am taking wewe back to where wewe belong.Im am tacking wewe to the kingdom today so go and pack."and with that she left the room then the realisation of it hit me i felt physicaly sick i.was.a.vampire.

“Training time for Lilly” I sneered looking at the small blond. She nodded. “Let me get ready” She said. I shrugged and then turned to go, but was stopped kwa Hayden. “She already trained today” he informed me, I nodded. “I know, but Rebecca wants her to have zaidi of it” I told him, he rolled his eyes. “Why is she being such a bitch?” he asked me I laughed. “It’s Rebecca, she sees her as a threat” I told him, he tensed up. The he turned to me. “You’re not being so bad” he said, pointing out that I’m usually a bitch. “She didn’t do anything...

I woke up, still in Ethan’s arms; my face was up against his chest. I slowly moved up, Ethan noticed this, he let go of me. I got up and walked over to the jikoni table. Why was I in Ethan’s arms? But then I remembered. ‘Adam.......he’s dead’ Dawns words came to my head. I nearly fell down again, but arms caught me. “Whoa....come on” Ethan alisema pulling me back to the couch. I was now sitting on the couch, Ethan sat beside me. “How did he....?” I asked. I sounded angry but I wasn’t I just couldn’t feel anything else. “We don’t know” Ethan answered me. He was trying...

A/N: My first poem I post here...I hope it is any good.

***********************************************

Memories

Far distant seem to be
the things I now call memory.
The good and bad, the right and wrong
share a thing, cause they are gone.

Long forgotten feelings rise
each of them in their disguise.
They are not dead, so it only seems
waiting patiently to haunt me in my dreams.

Will it ever cease to be?
Even if it's called memory
Does that mean I always have to remember
to give up, to hide from them, to surrender?

Whenever I fight them I will lose.
I have nothing between I could choose.
No matter...

Me: okay i actually found this story in my local newspaer from 20 years back. And i'll put a symbol for town names. I don't want rapists au pheaodifiles coming to my town... okay lets begin. And i shall have to give some background history. Well at there was a renovation going on at $ which was between # and &, for an old mental asylum to be converted into a power house musuem. Anyway so this story takes place then. I think i'm not sure of dates.
$ was a small town, very small as in like only three -5 thousande people

okay so in Australia out in the country there was a young couple travelling...

This is the rough draft of the first chapter of "Beyond a Dream" It's a book that I'm currently uandishi but it would nice to get some feedback about it. Its long but hope wewe like it!

Chapter 1

“What! We’re moving?!”

Aria stares at her father, Thomas, with disbelief and utter horror. Thomas sat in his inayopendelewa seat; a maroon armrest chair with soft kind of fabric that made it hard not to touch. His shoulder length silver layered hair and black framed glasses that went over his gray eyes made him look like the plain glasses business man that he was. Aria stood in the middle of their living...

People say flowers are beautiful.
They're beautiful, that's true.
They also provide oxygen for us.
People say weeds are ugly.
They apparently have no value,
Nor do they deserve to live.
I'm not talking weeds that grow in the garden.
I'm talking about wild plants.
Well, weeds are flowers, too.
Just give them a chance.
Once wewe get to know them, they're amazing.
They can be just as pretty as flowers.
I may not be an orchid au a sunflower.
I may not be a rose au an iris.
I'm zaidi of a dandelion.
I may be a weed, but I'm not so bad.
Give me half a chance. I'm pretty neat.
So, weeds are flowers, too.
Get to know them. They're pretty great.

"I......I........." OMG! Sooooo stupid! My best friend was gone now and he leaned down. OMG. He kissed me! Then...... gone. I was in my bed. Was it a dream? Well, I think i'll check just to be sure.

Alexander stood in front of me. I was looking up at him from my spot in the shower.
“Now what did wewe think wewe were going to accomplish kwa coming down here?” He asked, and looked around.
“I thought wewe wouldn’t find me,” I admitted sheepishly. It sounded stupid when I alisema it.
“Your thought process has yet to amaze me,” he chuckled. “This room is sound proof, right?”
“Uh, yeah. Why?” I looked up at him curiously.
    “Just wondering if that maintenance...

I went back to the motel after Lucy left. I never did figure out why she was running. inayofuata time I saw her I would ask…Hopefully I would see her again.
Damien is all alone alisema a voice. I shook my head, as my hands began to shake and my moyo raced.I sat on the creaky motel bed. It was cold, and hard. I didn’t care though. I was too emotionless to care. I didn’t feel like I was apart of this world. The walls and furniture were only an illusion, and this was my hell. I had already died. Maybe if I died in hell I would be officially dead.

I paced around the room, Alexander would be nyumbani in a few minutes. I was going to tell him what happened between Grey and me. I was nervous, but I had to do it. It wasn’t fair of me not too.
“Alexander, I know this is bad, but I must tell you,” I practiced aloud, staring at the empty wall. “I slept with Grey, and I know I shouldn’t have done it, but she seduced me. I tried to say no, but I was too weak. I really tried, though. Please, please forgive me Alexander. We can work it out, I know we can,” I thought I was doing really well; I prayed he would forgive...

The Australian mamba is the largest mamba in the world. It can grow up to seven metres long and the biggest can weigh up to 1000 kilos. It has only 2 muscles to open its mouth but 40 to close it!

What makes crocodiles so dangerous is that they attack incredibly quickly and they take their victims under the water to drown them. They usually attack in the water, but they can suddenly come out of a river and attack wanyama au people, and they can run on land at 17km/h.

Every mwaka in Australia there are mamba attacks on humans.2 years zamani a 24-year-old German tourist died when she went for...

Not long zamani people believed that in the future we would work less, have zaidi free time, and be zaidi relaxed. But sadly this has not happened.Today we work harder, work longer hours, and are zaidi stressed than 10 years ago.We walk faster, talk faster, and sleep less than awali generations. And although we are obsessed with machines which save us time,we have less free time than our parents and grandparents had.But what is this doing to our health? An American journalist James Gleick in a new book,Faster:the acceleration of just about everything, says that people who live in cities are suffering from...

In 1952,Audrey Hepburn was in Rome, making the film Roman Holiday with Gregory Peck. She was engaged to James Hanson,a London 'playboy',and she asked a famous Italian designer,Zoe Fontana,to make her a dress for the wedding.

Signora Fontana said,'Audrey was 23.She was so young and so beautiful then. She tried the dress on many times. It was in white lace, with a lot of tiny buttons down the back, and she wanted to wear flowers on her head.'

But 2 weeks before the wedding,Audrey Hepburn decided not to get married. She phoned Zoe Fontana and said,'I've cancelled the wedding. But I want another girl to...

I think that the most important lesson I learned from my mentor, mwandishi Arline Chase, concerned foreshadowing. Here is the bila mpangilio House Webster’s definition of foreshadow: to onyesha au indicate beforehand. In other words, to provide some hint, clue, au indication of something that is going to happen.

Why is foreshadowing important? I learned this lesson the hard way. In many of my first short stories—which I recommend as a medium to anyone testing the waters to see if they want to write fiction—I thought that I was being so crafty with my endings. I wrapped up the crime (or whatever) with...
