“02…..09…..10” I repeated this over and over again in my head as i turned my locker lock. My locker was full of pictures of Matthew and I from like seventh grade a few hivi karibuni photos; some band pics, bible verses, wewe know the common things in a teen’s locker.
In science I couldn’t keep myself awake if my life depended on it. Every time I would try to keep my eyes open, my head would fall. And every time I tried to keep my head up, my eyes would close. My lack of energy is probably because Matt and I stayed up til about three talking about his brothers and how his dad got a new girlfriend so fast. His family is kinda all over the place. Some are atheist and then some are die-hard Christians. Some are the most forgiving people wewe will ever meet and others….not so much. It doesn’t really matter to me because I upendo both sides of his family. But I know how hard it is for him.
“Hey Jazzy.” I heard from a distance. It was a girl from my science class, Amber Scott I think is her name.
“Forgot to give wewe this in science.” She alisema with a warm smile and handed me an envelope that read ‘Jazzy’.
“Umm thanks Amber, But what is it?” The smile left her face and an evil grin replaced it. Then her voice dropped to a whisper. “My house. Party. Eight o’clock.” She winked at me and gracefully walked away.
I’m confused. She is always so sweet. I think of the party and Amber Scott, I’m thinking chai party. It guess it just goes to onyesha that not everyone is who they say they are.
In study hall I had time to read the invite. It wasn’t covered in girly uandishi au pretty flowers. I’m zaidi confused. It was Thursday and I had nothing to do tonight. I never went to parties alone because that’s just pathetic, I either went with the current BF au Matt. I’m rid’n solo right now so I’m going with Matt. But I don’t actually know if Amber would want Matt there because of the whole cafeteria incident the other day. I’m just gonna text her and see if this invite can count for an escort.
When the kengele rang at 3:15 I was in kinda of a rush to get home.So I forgot to text Amber. It was six already I figured I might as well text her to see if Matt going was okay. (It better be cause I already told him he was going.) A took a while for her to respond but when she finally did she alisema that it was no problem that Matt was going. She alisema she kind of predicted I would go with him anyway. I took that kind of offense. It’s like she’s saying I’m predictable. I don’t think I’m predictable. I’m pretty spontaneous. Whatever.
At exactly 7:45 Matthew was at my house. I gotta admit, he did look pretty cute. It wasn’t that type of guy who wore eyeliner au skinny jeans au even Vans. But he also isn’t the guy would see sagg’n his pants and rapping along to Lil Wayne. He may have looked “out-of-style-” to all the freaks roaming around the mall these days but to me he looked normal and cute. Me on the other hand did like to wear eyeliner and skinny jeans and Vans. My hair was perfectly short and curled, my bangs straightened. I wore my inayopendelewa band t-shirt. Some dark denim and black checkered Vans.
“You look pretty.” He had a satisfied smile.
“And so do you.” I laughed a little and smiled back.
“You ready to go to the first party of the semester?”
“Yup, this is the beginning of it all.”
We both smiled.

When wewe hope,
wewe expect and wish,
wewe have a feeling for wanting,
Your desires to be filled,
wewe don’t want them killed,
Hope makes wewe stronger,

We live to hope,
Hope is what keeps us going,

Keep it sealed,
Let it be healed,
Like it’s your shield,
Sometimes it’s your battle field,

Keep hope close to wewe in life,
Sometimes wewe need to rethink twice,
For hope is unstable,
It comes and goes,

Hope is a special gift,
Not everyone knows,
If they do, they don’t bother to show,

Some of us want to lose hope,
Some of us want to regain hope,

Some think it’s a useless tool,
Yet they’re the ones blind,
Who won’t come to mind?

wewe and I, we all need hope,
No matter how far we seem from it,
It will find us one day,
For hope will come to us,

Wish and desire wewe moyo out,
Keep in mind,
Don’t back away;
wewe know what wewe want,

Keep hoping till the END……
Chapter 4

The Beginning of Mission

Jason was in a strange little futuristic town. It was dark at night, there were odd blue lights glowing all around him, and there were barely any buildings. As he walked he heard a voice. It was slightly squeaky, the sound echoed. Although, when Jason made a sound, the same volume and pitch, there was no echo. (Just a plain voice.) Strange, Jason thought. Something strange is going on, and I know it, eagerly thought Jason. Jason heard the same squeaky sound again. Now from all directions, Jason could hear the voice. He attempted facing a different direction....

Danny:

I grabbed my pink and green duffel bag off the wooden shelf beside my green bed.

I was inside the earth elemental mti house where all the earth elementals sleep if they are staying in the BOES over night. Marcus, Brenna, and I were supposed to be sleeping but we all weren't. We were running out to go find Janie. We weren't supposed to leave.

After pulling on skinny jeans and a green Nike shati I was ready. I woke up Marcus after I had pulled on my brown Converse and jacket.

"wha....what is it Danny?" He asked impatiently while rubbing his eyes. I ruffled his black hair.

"Get up meat head...

Marafiki Are Forever,so I thought.
All those pictures that I bought, now torn apart along with my broken heart.

I miss those hugs and laughs we use to share, because now they act like they don't care.

Now all we do is fight.
I wish God would give us some light, give me a solution to solve all this tension.

Marafiki don't back stab you.
Marafiki don't talk behind your back au be pissed off at wewe when they feel like it.

Nobody seems to care anymore.
Now girls are turning into whores.
All I know is that now we are all Marafiki for never.
When we need to go back to being Marafiki FOREVER!

OK,now the painting we are looking at now is kwa the French painter Toulouse-Lautrec.
The painting is called At The Moulin Rouge. As wewe probably know The Moulin Rouge is a nightclub in Paris.Maybe some of wewe remember the film Moulin Rouge? In the 19th century, the nightclub was very famous for its beautiful dancers and singers.
Toulouse-Lautrec did a lot of paintings and posters of the Moulin Rouge. He especially loved painting the dancers. And in these paintings he sometimes included his Marafiki too.
In the middle of the picture there are 5 people who are sitting at a meza, jedwali having a drink. The woman...

Author's Note: hujambo everyone. I'm fascinated with villain psychology and bad guys in general...they always seem to be zaidi interesting and have better back-stories than the good guys...anyways, this is my first attempt at uandishi a villain I created from scratch, so I'd appreciate any feedback, positive au negative. IF U READ THE ORIGINAL BLACKTIE, THIS IS NOT IT. This is a very very very similar version. The only difference is that I've edited the beginning to make the character zaidi relatable...But fear not!, the awesomeness is unaffected kwa this endeavor! Now, where was I? Oh yes, the story....

One last dip, I thought. One last dip before we go.

My kids were packing up the stuff on the beach, and my husband smiled at me. God blessed me with a great family.

"I'm going to do one last swim before we go," I said.

"Denise, it better be quick," murmured my husband.

"It will," I replied.

My toes dug into the sand, before going into the salty water. I felt the numbing cold in my body as I jumped in. It felt refreshing and comforting.

But, then something was wrong.

I felt this throbbing headache after not even a couple of minutes. I held onto my head, pressuring it, but it felt even worse.

"Denise?!"...
