hi, this story will be following the protagonist Lucy, who is trying to retreive the memories of who she is.
"Little girl, little girl..."I was dreaming of colours, and shapes. I could hear someones voice in the backround, calling for someone else, my ears twitched as i strained to hear more. "I know wewe can hear me, now wake up little girl, before they come," Was this voice calling to me? Was it trying to wake me from my slumber? i uncrurled my fingers, which were kwa my side, i could feel the rough ground beneath me. I slowly opened my eyes, letting in what light there was. When my eyes were fully open, i looked to see where i was, but i couldnt see anything, i began to panick. My breath coming up short, and my palms turning sweaty. Something touched my shoulder, i cringed and squeked, but somthing was put over my mouth, i began to writhe and claw at the thing on my mouth. "Calm down, girl. Its okay, i will not hurt you. But if your not quiet the people that brought wewe here will," The voice was coming from a man, and i geused it was his hand that was on my mouth. I calmed my breathing , and stoped moving. Adventually, the man removed his hand from my face. i pushed my self away from him, not trusting my own legs to be able to walk on them, i managed to push my self to a wall, and leaned up against it. The man stared intently at me for a while before shaking his head. "im Reily, ive been here for almost a month, i would think, and i have watched people come and go, im sorry." His eyes were looking past me at the ukuta i was leaning on, i turned and look at it to and realised it was i large wooden door. The look on his face made me songesha away from the dorr, his face was full of fright, and pity. "I think its about time that-" his voice broke and he took his face into his hands and sobbed. I looked at him uncomfertably, i wasnt sure what to do. i crawled beside him and patted his shoulder. "Thanks, but there is nothing for it dear, this time they will be coming for me," he tried to smile,"When i go dont listen, wewe mustnt be worried," I nodded, i didnt know this man, yet i felt so sorry that i didnt have a chance to, come to think of it i didnt know anything. "So girl what is wewe name, dont worry it will come back to wewe it all will," i looked at him confused, what did he mean.
"Lucy, at least i think," my voice croaky, and stuttered, because i wasnt sure if that was my name, how could i forget that. i looked at the man with zaidi concern, growing apon my face, he nodded in understanding.
"i still cant remeber everything, i think its somthing they do to us, that and the code," He supersticiously touched the back of his neck, i done the same and felt a rough part, Riely twstied his head so that i could see his neck. I gasped as i saw, the thick rectangular bar code apon his neck, i touched my own again and a small tear rolled down my cheek. "im sorry," he alisema again, i nodded and took in a deep breath, i could taste the air, and even that tasted of fear.
"Is there any way out?" i asked, i knew i was pulling on broken strings. He didnt answer, just stared at the door, i began to ask again but he just raised his finger to his mouth. i looked from the door to his face, and slowly found my self behind Riely, and cowering in the corner, slowly i raised my arms and put them over my head. I wasnt in controll of this motion, but i didnt fight it, what ever was going on Im sure it was Riely that was doing it. I heard the lock turning on the outside of the door, i closed my eyes and waited till i could feel my arms again. Once i opened my eyes, and moved my arms i was sitting in the room alone, and i was terified.

This is written about the perfect silence only found in the dead of night, and the feelings it inspires.
The title comes from the description a friend of mine gave when we were stuck in the middle of nowhere at midnight and I found it sort of beautiful.
Enjoy (I hope) :)
Weighted air and winking stars,
darkness draped, tension wrought.
This night, this hour, is ours.
Silence chimes unspoken thoughts
that choke my mouth.
Silver moonbeams in glittering outline
surround you, and in our youth
this night, this hour, we intertwine.
I'd upendo to hear what wewe like au hate.
Thanks for reading.
