After a few weeks, Mariah was recovered from the accident. I didn’t really expect she would come and get me. She just appeared in the racing tracks in the other night telling me to slow down. I was surprised, though. It’s like she was concerned. I didn’t know why I kissed her in the forehead. I’m pretty sure she expects that we’ll be touching lips kwa then. But, that didn’t bother me too much.
Mariah is a great person. She’s thoughtful, funny, well what else can I say, gorgeous? I guess that’s the right word to describe...

Life unfurls and unfolds as it should. When we’re aliyopewa our particular mountain to climb, we are also aliyopewa the capacity to make the journey. Even though we may begin down in the swamp, we eventually rise to the heavens. The zaidi we see “problems” as potentially invaluable “lessons” that we may not want but might just need; we take life’s ups and downs with greater equanimity and even with gratitude. We might consider for a moment how life has provided the perfect circumstances for us to face the issues of our life paths. When we’ve explored our nooks and crannies to the point...

I was sitting on the sand down kwa the beach, pwani listening to my cousin Lora babble on about why she had believed in something I can’t remember. I was just staring at the clouds that had rain coming out of it. I was watching how every time I looked at them they seemed to get darker each time.
Then I felt someone push me onto my back and I heard Lora say, “You’re not listening to me.”
“Of coarse I am Lora the last thing wewe alisema was that wewe think that they are horrible things that shouldn’t be alive.” I guessed “Lucky guess. Don’t look...

Normally, this style just isn't me, but I feel like I needed to release all of my wrath, turning it into sadness, eventually.

So, I'm not an emo poem writer, but I just wanted to publish this piece I literally just wrote.

I am broken
There's no one left to fix me.
All hope is lost
There's so much I will never be.

I am broken
My world has been shattered.
All hope is lost
I am nothing, destroyed and battered.

I am broken
The world around me falls apart.
All hope is lost
There is no chance for a new start.

I am broken
I have been left here on my own.
All hope is lost
There's no one else; I am here alone.

I am broken
The pain is too much for me to bare.
All hope is lost
In the end, the others just don't care.

I was broken
No tears remain in my fearful eyes.
All hope is gone
My world ended with nothing but lies.
Chapter 4

To a room full of people who were pale, I saw Edward and Bella so I
Thought this must be something that Bella knows about. I walked down the
Stairs and demanded I know what was going on, this pale man with blonde
Hair who looked so young came up to me and told me that Bella had come
To save me from losing my life and that Edward brought wewe here. I
Started asking questions:
"Why are wewe guys so pale?"
"Well we are Wanyonya damu like you"
"But I am not as pale as you, and YOU...

Let me see..
I pray everyday,
Say the same words of the "Our Father".
I pray,
But,
When it gets to that part,"Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us", I laugh.
Not out loud laughter,
Jeez, I don't want neighbors thinking I'm crazy and all that B.S,
No, Not out loud.
I laugh in,
Do wewe know that forgiveness is a virtue?,
If wewe don't,know now for the upendo of Mike.
Forgiveness is a virtues but I should think it is complementary to forgetting,
The bible says,"Forgive and forget",
I totally agree.
"Please forgive me", that the exact words he used the last time,
Well before the last time,...

She had left.
She is long gone; away from everything that connects her to this cruel world, dead, buried underneath the blue, glittering waves of the ocean. Shattered into small pieces, flew away from her body, leaving deep wounds in the moyo of everyone who had loved her. He would never cry enough tears to erase her memory; no tears were enough to express that endless sea of grief and sorrow he sank gradually in. He would never stand enough hours in front of her grave to grasp the concept that she won't tap his shoulder and wake him up from a horrible dream. She is... Dead.
He looked around...

I looked back down and we sat in silence for a couple of minutes. I looked to my right to find Looi holding the child that was being stubborn in his arms. This, in fact, reminded me of myself in his arms a long, long time ago. Oh, I’d say about 16 years zamani when I was 2 and he was 11. My mom and dad had Looi when they were only 19 years old, so It took a while for them to decide to have me 9 years later when they were 28. I laughed at how old my mom was now. I know it’s nothing to laugh about, but, I couldn’t imagine my mom at Looi’s age now that she is 46.

As twilight fell over Paris, it was as though reality loosened its hold. The ancient and modern buildings battled for domination of the street, and of one’s senses. The juxtaposition of old and new was on the precipice of being overwhelming. We were all caught in limbo between the past and present.

Limbo wasn’t a good place for me. My thoughts sprang out and ranged in all directions, with nothing solid to contain them. There were no comforting boundaries in the area between dreams and reason, and nowhere to hide.

I told myself that I shouldn’t the horizon, that I don’t need boundaries,...

This is something I'm working on.. It's the first long piece I've attempted. People often told me I'm too good at imagery and description to write anything short. Perhaps I use too much imagery? I'm curious about what wewe guys think.

I already know it's a bit shakey at some parts. I still need to do some revising. I revise every time I finish kusoma a book. I feel each book teaches me zaidi and zaidi about writing.

CHAPTER 2
A picture of a young blond man was shining on the screen, it was Jacob, their brother, the one who always held it together when everything was falling apart. Adele snuggled closer to her brother. And for once, he didn't push her away, instead, he just held her, not speaking a word.”He promised! He promised he would come nyumbani early tonight!” she managed to say between her sobs. Then she burst into tears again. Simon held her until she fell asleep, tears still on her cheeks. He carried his sister up to her bed, where she could be far away from the pain.
