Meagan sat kwa Artemis's kitanda all night hoping she would wake up but never did, Meagan didnt want to leave her side she loved Artemis like one of her sisters, she loved everyone on the team she felt as though they were another family that she never wanted to be torn apart. Wally came in the infirmary in time to see Meagan begin to cry, " hujambo beautiful have wewe been up all night in the infirmary?" he asked trying to put on his charm to make her feel better, " yeah.. i-i didnt want to leave her alone incase she woke up im even willing to stay her all siku and at night again." she alisema trying to hide back her tears, Wally sighed he couldnt think that Meagan would ever be able to sleep again, besides she needed her rest for fighting on missions without that she wouldnt be able to do anything. " Well im not doing anything today so i can watch her and i promise i wont leave her side, besides wewe need some rest, ill let wewe know first thing if anything happens"
he alisema trying to hide the fact that he cared and wanted to be alone with Artemis. " promise?" Meagan replied, " promise..." Wally said. Meagan flew over and hugged him and went to her room to go sleep. As soon as he was alone he looked down at her in sadness and he pulled up a chair and sat down grabbing her hand, " wewe can make it through this, your strong just please, please wake up' wally whispered to her he kissed her on the forehead and sat with his head down on the matress of the kitanda still grasping on her hand.

( meanwhile in the combat room on the computer)

Robin sat at the Moutains main computer trying to figure out what gas was let loose onto Artemis.
He slammed his hand on the panel and screamed in frustration. Aqualad hearing and feeling his frustration build walked over to where Robin was sitting and asked " any luck?, can i be of any help?" he offered. " Im just confused this is not a regular joker gas it was blue as Meagan described it to be, and it shouldnt make her laugh
not get knocked out, he must of used a different gas then the one he used on Superboy" alisema Robin " Well then Joker must of made up a new formula and decided to test it on Artemis" alisema Aqualad." The only swali that remains is why Artimes?" alisema Robin while looking over at Aqualad.

(in the hallway Meagan on her way to her room)


Meagan walked down the hall way headed to her room when Superboy was headed towards her going the opposite direction. Meagan smiled, flew over and kissed him on the cheek " hujambo " she alisema finally landing her feet fully on the ground infront of him. " hi.." he replied avoiding eye contact from her " whats wrong" she asked trying to look into his blue eyes that he was trying so hard to hide. " its just that gas it got me down so easily and im a weapon..... au at least i thought i was" he alisema finally looking into Meagans bright brown eyes. " I thought youd be over this already, why do wewe think yourself as aweapon, your fighting on our side the one that makes wewe deserve zaidi then that" she alisema " wewe just dont understand, and i bet noone ever will!"
he yelled and moved her out of the way and walked away. Meagan stood there with tears in her eyes as he walked down the hall and around the corner.

(in the infirmary that night)

Wally sat there without letting go of her hand and his bright emrald eyes stared at her not even giving a blink to lose sight of her for one second. Wally eventually figured he had to sleep he needed it so he walked over to a kitanda in the infirmary beside Artimes's and pulled it closer so it was right beside hers not even an inch away.
Wally went to turn out the lights and then walked over to the kitanda and layed down facing Artimes so when he woke up she'd be the first thing he'd see in the morning.

"please, please dont go" Artimes begged as a little girl sitting on her kitanda at nyumbani facing her sister and holding a toy bunny. "sorry sis but mom's not getting out of jail anytime soon and i refuse living with just dad" she replied " but, wewe and me and dad we make a family , we all have to stay together in order to keep it that way" little Artimes alisema with tears in her dark eyes. Artimes's sister stood there zipping up her bag thinking if shes forgetting sometihng " wewe cant leave " she pleaded once zaidi " OH DUH toothbrush" her sister replied hitting herslef gently in the head and walking to the bathroom and coming out with a tooth brush in her hand. Her sister finally put the toothbrush in the bag and zipped it up picking it up, " wewe know he'll come after wewe right" she turned around " let him, i'll disappear just like the Cheshire cat. just before she left she turned around to Artimes " wewe know wewe should get out to, I'd let wewe come with me but you'd just slow me down" " someone has to be here when mom gets out" she replied glareing sadly at her sister. " dont wewe get it , in this family its every girl for herself" she alisema just before she left and shut the door behind her. Artimes opened her eyes but not waking up inayofuata to Wally but in an empty place with nothing. Artimes sat up and held onto her knees and began to cry," Hush my little Arty dont cry" Artimes looked up imeadiatly and saw her mom rolling up to her in her wheelchair. " MOM!" Artimes screamed running over to hug her mom on her knees. " How are wewe here?" she asked finally letting go of her mother. " your in your mind" she replied " wait then why are wewe here?" she asked confused, " her mom began to laugh and alisema im your imagination.", " but why are we here, where do i go, what will i do," , her mom smiled and said" i'm sure you'll figure it out" . Her mom began to vanish into the blankness of her mind . " WAIT MOM NO DONT GO I NEED wewe WHY CANT I SEE ANYTHING IN MY MIND WHY CANT I STAY WITH wewe LONGER." before her mom vanished she alisema "dont wake up empty minded" Artimes tried to imagine her past anything but it was to much to feel alone and she opened her eyes and sat up gasping and crying inayofuata to Wally in the infirmary.
