Becca walked through the snow, up towards Mt. Justice. The winter air was refreshing and Becca loved it, even if her lips were turning blue. Becca knew she could have used the Zeta Beam, but she had already been in Happy Harbor when Robin called. Her bike had gotten totaled kwa some reckless driver and she had needed a lift. And a tow. The crunch of the snow rang in Becca's ears everytime she stepped. It was a beautiful sound but it added a sad thought to her happy heart. This was her first real krisimasi without her parents. She sniffled a little, part from the cold and part from the sad thought. A shiver ran throughout her body and Becca hurried along. She reached Mt. Justice and stepped inside.

“Becca!”
A smile lit her face as her boyfriend came up to her with a warm hug.
“Hey,” she greeted.
“Man. wewe look frozen.”
“I feel frozen. Inside and out.”
Robin smiled at her.
“Take your koti, jacket off. There's a moto going in the living room.”
“There is? But there's no fireplace! How'd wewe manage that?”
Robin smirked in return and Becca, sighing in pleased defeat, did as she was told. Robin disappeared and Becca made her way to the living room. She smiled, chuckling a little, when she saw the fire. Somehow, Robin had been able to get a little metal box and made a moto in it. All the smoke shot up through a makeshift chimney and towards the back of the mountain, away from town.
“Do wewe like it?” Robin asked.
Becca jumped a little. She had been so focused on the moto that she hadn't heard Robin come up behind her.
“Oh! Yes. It's lovely.”
“Hmm. I wanted to see how beautiful wewe were in the light of a fire.”
Becca blushed, smiling at her lover.
“You're sweet.”
“You deserve it.”
Becca went to him, receiving the kiss he placed on her lips. Robin pulled away and sat her on the couch, close to the fire. Becca watched as he brought in a tray of hot chocolate, pocky, and a small plate of cookies.
“Well wewe certainly out did yourself,” Becca ametoa maoni as Robin snuggled close to her.
“I wanted this to be special. This is our first krisimasi together and I want wewe to remember it.”
“I will always remember this. You're amazing.”
Robin smiled, placing a kiss on her forehead.
“Close your eyes,” he whispered.
Becca did s she was told, feeling Robin songesha around before settling inayofuata to her.
“Okay. Open.”
Becca opened her eyes and looked at the small box Robin was holding. He handed it to her and Becca opened the gift. Inside was a silver necklace. A little moyo pendant was engraved and Becca read the beautiful words.
To live is meaningless with out you, Becca. I'd rather never know wewe than live without you. I upendo you, Sparrow. Merry Christmas.
Becca looked up at Robin, tears in her eyes.
“Oh Robin! You're wonderful!”
“You're precious. I upendo wewe Becca.”
“I upendo wewe Dick.”
“I have another surprise for you.”
“What? But Robin, this mkufu is wonderful.”
“I know. Just...stand up.”
Becca stood and watched Robin walk over to a CD player. He hit the play button and the krisimasi version of “Beautiful” came on. It was preformed kwa Jim Brickman. Robin took hold of Becca, slowly leading her into a steady waltz.
“Robin-”
“You're parents danced to this at their wedding. I thought we should practice for ours.”
Becca smiled, relaxing in her boyfriend's hold. He rested his head inayofuata to hers and whispered the lyrics in her ear.
“Cause I've seen the miracle of snow on krisimasi day. The miracle of Love's first kiss, that takes your breath away. And underneath the mistletoe, I know dreams come true. Cause I've never seen anything as beautiful as you.”
Becca hummed happily, feeling salama in Robin's loving arms.
An saa later, Becca and Robin sat cuddled kwa their fire. Becca was feeling elated and her moyo sung a happy song. Robin had made this the best krisimasi of her life and she was loving every dakika of it.
“I have one zaidi surprise,” Robin whispered.
“What is it?”
Robin smiled and got up. Becca immediately felt the cold rush back inside of her. She watched Robin head towards his room and open the door.
“I already named her. I hope wewe don't mind.”
Becca gave him a puzzled look. Her face turned into surprise when a black and white Akita puppy exited his room. It wore a blue collar, alama with a mti shaped pendant. It's brown eyes sparkled when it saw Becca and released a happy woof. Robin brought the dog over and Becca pet the soft fur. She lifted the tag and read the name on it. Joy Stevens Becca looked up.
“You named it after my mother?”
“Yeah. I thought wewe might need something to keep the memories alive.”
Becca closed her eyes, tears sliding from beneath.
“Robin. This is the best krisimasi I've ever had. You're so sweet. So loving. I cherish wewe zaidi than anything else. I upendo you.”
Robin kissed her sweetly.
“I upendo wewe too. wewe deserved a nice Christmas, after all that you've gone through.”
Becca opened her eyes, looking at the ceiling. A smile lit her face.
“You see what's above me?” she whispered.
Robin smirked and, true to tradition, kissed Becca underneath the mistletoe. Later, they walked in the snow with Joy, the stars shining brightly. A shooting nyota flew across the sky.
“Make a wish,” Becca demanded.
“I don't need to,” Robin answered. He pulled Becca close. “All of my krisimasi wishes have come true. Through you.”
Becca smiled and, with the snow falling around them, received her krisimasi kiss.
