"Okay, so the last time wewe saw Scarecrow, he was at Arkham Asylum, right?" Robin confirmed.
I nodded. "Yep."
He eyed a stranger who was looking at us intently; the only couple wearing strange clothing. "And he wants to upgrade his serum, so that means--"
"He needs a lab!" I finished. I loved it when I felt smart.
He smiled. "Right, love. And whose lab has the best up-to-date equipment suitable for a fear serum?"
There's nyota Labs, LexCorp, and... "I got one... WayneTech. There's no other richer lab in the country."
Robin looked solemn for a moment, gazing at the moon.
I nudged him softly. Robin?
He shook out of the mist, and smiled at me. "Right. Sorry. WayneTech. That's where we'll go."

"I don't see anything," I said, disappointed.
Robin leaned closer to the rooftop window. Inside was nothing but darkness. Finally, he sighed and said, "Okay, we're gonna have to go in." His eyes were fixed on mine.
I realized that at this point our lives were at stake. Anything we saw could be a trap, and if we fell into that trap, we would be no more.
When I didn't answer, he frowned. "You could stay up here and keep a look out. I--"
I scoffed. "No. None of that safety crap. I'm part of the team, and I'm obligated to go on every mission."
"But Erica--"
"I'm coming with you," I alisema stubbornly. I couldn't believe we were actually having this conversation.
He sighed, giving in. "Fine." He pulled out a long object from his ukanda and stuck it to the window. Two sharp ends popped out, and he spun them, creating a hole big enough for a person to fit through.
With nimble hands, I pulled out the large circle, and set it aside softly. It's now au never, I thought.
I was about to hop in when Robin abruptly took my hand. "I'll go first," he declared.
I groaned and backed up while he leaped into the hole. I jumped only when he alisema it was okay to. My eyes squinted into the darkness, trying to make out a figure.
Suddenly, a pair of eyes were staring into mine, glowing bright yellow. A wave of pain rang through my head, and I fell to my knees, groaning.
"Erica? What's wrong!" I felt Robin's hands on my shoulder.
"Erica..." A raspy voice swam through the deep confines of my mind, nearly driving me mad.
I groaned. "W-what...do wewe want...?" I alisema out loud.
The voice chuckled. "All I want...is you."
A loud keen emanated through my consciousness, driving out every memory I had stored in there. A blueish figure leaped out at me, pushing me to the floor, it's large claws digging into my skin.
"Erica..." It alisema again.
And then I realized who it was.
"NO!" I yelled, pushing myself up. I felt all the strength drain out of me as I stood face to face with the Dragon Spirit.
Deep inside my mind, I knew it wasn't him. It would've been impossible to see him again, since I was no longer Avatar.
My immunity to its power made it shrink away, leaving nothing but a wingu of dust. All of a sudden, lights turned on, and there was no one in the room besides Robin and me.
When I looked at him, he looked pale. "What...was that?" he whispered.
"Just...a memory," I panted.
He looked at me painfully. "Wanna keep going?"
I nodded.

"We have to."

"Just...a memory."

Wally stared out his window. The rain poured down in floods and thunder sounded in an ear shattering rumble. I hope Dick's okay; he hates thunder storms. Wait a second! Artemis's communicator buzzed. What was Batman calling this early in the morning for? She picked it up and, making sure Wally was asleep, slipped out onto the roof.

"Yes?" she asked.

"Artemis," Batman's voice had a melancholy tone to it, and Artemis knew it was bad. "Your mother was abducted kwa Cheshire and the League of Shadows."

Artemis just stared at the screen for a moment. She started to cry.

"Don't worry." Batman said. "The Justice League is heading to save her, but it'll take a while."

Artemis must have fallen asleep at some point before the movie ended, because just as the sky was growing dark Wally suddenly felt a weight on his arm. He managed to look inayofuata to him and saw that Artemis had fallen asleep on his shoulder. His first instinct was to shake her awake, but he was stopped kwa how relaxed she looked. Her head seemed to fit perfectly on his shoulder and she was actually smiling slightly. This didn't help Wally's predicament.
