“My-my inner demons?” Becca asked.
“Yes. We all have them. I am yours Becca. You've been running away from me. Now that I've caught up, wewe must face me.”
Becca looked at Sheila. Her brown eyes were calm and peaceful. Becca imagined her eyes were fearful and sad; troubled and worn. She tried to look away but Sheila's eyes were so focused it was hard to songesha under her gaze.
“Becca. Do wewe upendo him?”
“Yes.”
“Then face me. In order to gain what wewe have lost, wewe must talk to me.”
“About what?”
“Tell me how they make wewe feel, how he makes wewe feel.”
“How I feel when I'm with them?”
“Yes. To face your other demons, wewe must tell me how they make wewe feel. Because you, of all people, understand the sacrifice of true love. wewe remember him, don't you?”
“Of course! How could I not?”
“Then tell me.”
Becca looked away, gathering her strength. A gentle hand placed under her chin caused her to look back. Shiera waited, her eyes strong and intent on Becca's face.
“How they make me feel? Ok. I'll start with Megan. She is sweet and caring. Although she can be annoying sometimes, Megan is a true angel. The way she always looks out for others and listens when people speak. The way Megan always has some kind of treat ready; like a mom waiting for her kids to come home. Megan makes me feel happy, protected. She has earned my trust.”
Becca paused for a dakika when a small little arrow of light entered the room and went into her.
“Kaldur's next. He is always looking out for everyone. He risks a lot, trying to protect us and even teaching us lessons along the way. No matter what happens, he always looks for the benefit of the team. He lives for it. He is brave and wise, but he has a secret side too. One that I've been able to see. Kaldur has earned my trust.”
Another light arrow entered, this one going into Becca as well.
“Connor's turn. He is aggressive and a little...dense. But he tries. He learns. He cares. He may be strong and tough on the outside, but his moyo is beating for upendo and truth. He may be just a clone, but there has never been someone zaidi willing to learn and listen than Connor. He makes me feel safe, like I can always count on him. Connor may not be a living encyclopedia, but he has the brain of a juu notch computer on steroids. He will use it to the best of his abilities. His strength is only one side wewe see. The other is soft and caring. I feel salama around him. Connor has my trust.”
Five zaidi light arrows appeared, each going into Becca. They seemed drawn to her, like every word she was saying made the difference.
“Wally's turn. He is always speeding around, never staying in one place too long. But when wewe need him, he's there. Never have I seen someone as determined as he is. Never have I seen such a bottom-less pit before either. Despite being called dense, Wally is one of the smartest on the team. He lives for science but I think he is slowly believing in magic. He uses his brain to the max. But he uses his moyo one-hundred and thirty percent. Somehow, I don't think this guy will be giving up without a fight. He makes me feel watched over. He seems to look out for everyone. Wally has my trust.”
A heard of the little light arrows decided to jiunge the others and Becca allowed them.
“Artemis is next. Her archery skills are to perfection. He life is a secret. No matter what wewe do, though, she will back wewe up. There is a certain level of kindness inside of her. But she is raising the bar every sekunde that she lives. She may not be the smartest au the fastest au even have powers, but Artemis lives for her friends, because of her friends. No matter how Lost wewe think wewe are, Artemis is the compass waiting to take wewe home. She's learned a lot about families. She has become mine. She is my best friend, my older sister. I feel like I can depend on her. Artemis has my trust.”
Every word Becca spoke brought these little arrows of light into her. Every time she used the word trust. Becca could feel her strength coming back and she was ready to fight.
“Robin is the last. He is sweet, caring. He always looks out for others. He gives his all and risks himself zaidi than they really know. Somehow, he still manages to upendo me. I may never be good enough for him, but there is always something good inside that he sees. He has no powers but is the best hero there is. I can release all my emotions when I'm with him. I don't have to hide, I don't have to run, and I never have to fear the darkness inside of me. He helps bring out the light I hold. He faces off the darkness around me and still loves. He loves me. I know that I upendo him with everything I am. Everything I used to be. Everything I will be. I will always upendo my little bird. He will always be mine. And I will always belong to him. No one can tame me. No one but him. No one can weaken me. No one can stand against me. No one can beat me. Not when I have him to protect and love. He makes me feel cherished and loved beyond all else. Robin has my trust.”
A large quantity of light entered her, making Becca glow brightly. A darkness exited from her and went to Shiera, who was starting to disappear.
“You have fought your inner demons Becca. wewe have triumphed. Now go save your family.”
Shiera placed a hand on her shoulder, causing Becca to wince at sudden pain.
“You have no need for your apprentice look. I will take it and make sure that Becca and Prendere never meet again. Go to them; save your family.”

After the long ride home, I walked to the cave where I had been staying for the last little while. I had covered the entrance with vines, but inside was bright thanks to the oil lanterns I purchased. I also picked this particular spot because it had a constant trickle of water slashing down the side of the cave wall. I crushed up some moyo shaped herb to enhance my senses. I rubbed it on my palms and my face, then let it sit for a moment. Then, I rinsed it off, felling refreshed. Kid Flash zoomed in.
“Ooh! What’cha making?” he asked, eating some. He instantly spat it out.
“EW! wewe eat...

It was three weeks zamani since I talked to Dick. I was in the mall with the orphans. It there was a special onyesha au something. And because Audrey was “sick” at home, I diced to come with them. I couldn’t stop thinking about the fights. The two fights had a main thing in common. The truth. Audrey thought I lied to her. Just because I understand her. In her opinion way to good. Dick accused me of being two different people. I yelled at him before going. It was bugging me for three weeks. Not that I was afraid that I hurt Dick but because I didn’t understand what I said. “Sometimes I wonder...

“What is wrong with you? Robin.” Wally was looking at Robin. “There is nothing wrong with me. Wally.” There really was nothing wrong with me. I’m happy. I have great friends. I have an awesome father. I have a great team. And I saw Rachel for the first time embraced. What can a guy wish zaidi for? Wally: “Robin? wewe have a weird aura around you. Are wewe mad au something?” I looked at Wally. He really was worried. “I perfectly fine. I’m just happy.” Artemis looked up from the book she was reading. “You? Happy? You’re joking, right?” I laughed. “No, I’m not joking....

His head pounded and his eyes were sore. He tried opening them but found he couldn't. But he could still feel the fabric of his mask on his eyes. He sighed inwardly. His hands and ankles were strapped to a hospital bed; judging kwa the bars at the sides of the platform, he guessed it was a bed. He could feel a warm liquid entering his body. Sounds and hums filled the room (he guessed it was a room). Pain ran up and down his legs and his arms felt heavy. He heard voices.
“How is our patient?” a man with a heavy German accent asked.
“Everything shows as normal. Sir.”
“Excellent. Vhat...

From up in the air, the marks from the earlier fight had made a warning mark. It was Robin's symbol but a sword was “drawn” through the infamous “R”. Megan grabbed Becca in her arms, taking them down to the ground slowly.
“Megan! Let me go! I have to find him!”
The martian ignored the girl's please and held on tighter as Becca struggled to get free.
“What's wrong?” Artemis asked; if Becca needed to be held back it was a sure sign something was wrong. Almost everything was.
“No. Nonononononono! Megan!”
Becca sank to her knees as Megan landed on the ground, still hugging the girl...

“I can't believe how much has happened,” Becca alisema aloud.
A wind blew her hair and she attempted to tuck the loose strands behind her ear. She sighed as the sun set. It was a gorgeous summer sun set with cool breezes. The siku was as perfect as the weather. Except for one minor detail.
“Megan has become like a sister to me. She's always there to help me and she trusts too easily. Kaldur is...I don't know him very well. But he could be a close friend if we were to talk. Then there's Connor. He is very temperamental but he has a sweet side; he's a brother. And so's Wally. Ohmygosh. Wally...

“I'm bored!” Wally exclaimed.
“So find someone else to bug!” Artemis replied, turning back to her book.
“I can't.”
“And why the heck not?!”
“Because Kaldur went with Aquaman, Superboy and Megan are who knows where and Robin didn't come today. You're the only one here!”
“Well stop bugging me! I have homework. Besides, don't wewe have some ripoti Batman gave wewe for snooping around his house au something?”
“Oh yeah.”
Recognized: Robin B01
A grin spread across his face.
“Too late. Rob's back!”
Wally sped off and tackled his best friend as he stepped through the kitchen/living...

"You don't know what it's like, losing a relative!"
"You don't know what it's like, losing a relative!"
"You can't do this to me! My babies will die!"
"Yeah, lady, tell it to the judge!" KF gently nudged Poison Ivy up the last few steps to Arkham Asylum, the infamous Gotham crazyhouse.
Cliche much?
"I had to say something!" he mentally replied.
She looked pleadingly at me. "Please! wewe don't know what it's like, losing a relative!"
"I know plenty what it's like," I muttered, opening the door. Behind it, shrieks and screams emanated from each cell door, revealing a disheveled face in the little windows, pleading for mercy, for life.
"This place is giving me the creeps," KF said, out loud now.

 "Let us go!"
"Let us go!"
"I had orders to have wewe executed in an hour," Evelyn said. "It appears that they have been overlooked."
"Let us go!" Artemis strained.
Evelyn laughed. "Not without a fight, of course." She looked at Jeannette. "You take Erica. She is out of my league."
"What are we going to do?" Artemis asked before we fell down.
Evelyn doesn't know that Superboy has anger issues. We could leave it at that.
With a loud yell, Superboy lunged at an unsuspecting Evelyn, bursting through the wall.
"Artemis, stop the countdown!" I ordered. She nodded and went to the computer screen, when Air sent me flying to...

Wally was vibrating in place; he was so impatient to learn what Batman had found that he was shaking at super speed. He crossed his arms and sighed loudly while he waited for the Dark Knight to appear in the mountain.
“Wally stop vibrating!” Artemis yelled.
He glared at her, only encouraging the shaking.
“I can't! I want to know what Batman found out!”
“So do we!”
“Enough.”
Both Heroes straightened up at the sound of the voice; geez where did Batman come from! It's like he lived in the shadows! Oh wait. Wally thought. He kinda does. Even zaidi so now that Rob... wally shook the thought...

“If I didn't know any better,” Wally started, “I'd say someone was following us.”
“You mean like people always do?” Artemis responded.
Wally nodded. He looked around them. It was early morning and no body should have been awake. The only reason the team wasn't at the mountain was because Batman had decided to wake them up earlier than normal so they could patrol. And Robin was totally awake! Even Wally wasn't awake as fast as Robin. Then again, the boy only got like four hours of sleep in a day. Wally yawned, feeling his feet start to drag. First he felt only the early sun shinning...

Wally's brain was running in overdrive. Finding out what had happened to Robin led him to a fork in the road. After visiting Wayne Manor, it was clear that Robin was not there. In fact, it seemed that every one in Gotham city and surrounding areas knew Robin had vanished. But there were no leads to follow, no change in superhero protected cities. And that meant one of two things.
Robin had decided it was enough and ended his misery.
Robin had just disappeared.
Wally hoped to heaven, hell, and back that it was the latter; if he had made Robin cut is own life short...Wally had no idea what he would...

Lily awoke suddenly. She was in a dark room. She could hear voices outside the enclosed myserious room. She then attempted to sit up and put a hand to her migrating head. But that's when she relized she was straped down. It almost reminded her of that gory horror movie she watched once where the girl gets sawed in half kwa a creepy puppet. She took a deep breathe and attempted to squirm out. But no luck.
Lily then heard approching footsteps. She turned her head in the direction of which it was coming from. The fimiular figure of Chesire walked in.
"Good. You're awake." She smirked evilly....

"Com'on Miles!" I almost shouted. I was trying to keep my voice low. If we finally had found them, I didn't want to lower our chances of getting them. "I still don't know why Zero wants us on this mission. I mean, seriously Reese, they're just a bunch of 'powers!" Miles alisema arrogantly. He was so stupid sometimes. I wanted to burn his head off. I could, very easily, but since he was my partner I would probably get my butt kicked for doing it. "Well," I alisema annoyingly, "Zero alisema that these guys are incredibly dangerous. Do wewe want them to just wander the city hurting people?" Miles sighed....

“What's wrong with me?” Robin groaned out loud.
He had been feeling so...weird around Wally. But they were best friends! au at least used to be. Wally had totally nounced ( as apposed to announced) their friendship as over four days ago. But the team had definatly noticed and Robin couldn't keep the other boy off his mind. He wanted to explain to Wally why he'd been ignoring and avoiding him. But Robin didn't know that himself. It had just happened. And here he was, weeks after it all began, crying because he was an idiot.
“Why didn't I just hide it?”
The emotions that stirred inside...

"Bank robbery. 31st street. Be there."
Suddenly, a man who wore a grayish costume with spiky goggles ran up to us. His squarish chin reminded me of our Batman back home.
"What's the situation, Bats?" Evelyn asked.
"Bank robbery. 31st street. Be there." He walked off without another word.
"Assemble the team," the other Robin told Evelyn. "This is serious--"
"Hold on," I interrupted him. "Take us instead. I'd like to see how wewe work."
Evelyn looked at Robin apprehensively, but smiled. "Sure! Let's go!"

"Yes, wewe will." replied the red-headed boy. My Master would kill me if i did, though. Not a good sight for young, immature children. "We're not children!" alisema the youngest one. "Batman, I got your call."
"Batman, I got your call."
"Nightfury, B08," announced the automated computer as the three of us transported back to the Cave, our hearts racing.
Batman was standing in front of the large computer screen, frowning at the news ripoti Summer Gleeson was giving. I didn't have to listen to it to remember what happened.
Batman looked at me, clearly troubled. "Did wewe see where the blast came from before the explosion?"
I shook my head. "We were after these robbers when it happened. Nobody was in the alley when it occurred."
Again, he looked at the screen. Police cruisers and moto trucks were surrounding the hole, which looked...
