When we docked in Happy Harbor, we all changed into our civvies. I wore a black silk collared-shirt with sleeves rolled up to elbows, black jeans, black steel boots and a green ukanda that sat on my waist, while Eagle wore a grey strapless shati with a black short sleeved jacket, jeans and grey high-heeled boots and simba, simba wa kike wore a brown sleeveless shati made from a rough material and jeans. She wore brown hiking boots and (like always) had a golden ukanda around her arm. We walked together down the mitaani, mtaa to the mountain. When we got there, simba, simba wa kike opened the secret passage and we snuck in. When we entered we all looked around in wonder.
“You did all this?” I asked. We were standing in a seventy foot high cave with a large device coming down from the juu and a circular floor.
“No” simba, simba wa kike muttered as we followed her through the mountain. We followed a hall to a lounge. We all heard chatter from ahead and looked at each other. We walked in and saw six teens laughing, talking and arguing. Of course, that all stopped when they saw us. No body moved, talked au even breathed. Then, all hell broke loose. I turned and sprinted away, followed kwa my two team mates. We ran silently, smart enough not to yell. Suddenly, a blur passed us and tripped me, spraining my ankle. I yelled in pain and simba, simba wa kike picked me up in her arms. In those few moments, the other five had caught up and surrounded us.
“Who are you!?” one demanded
“Yeah, like we’re going to tell you” I laughed. The blur sped off, and suddenly, an alarm rang through the cave. It returned a sekunde later. I snarled.
‘Eagle, Lioness, get out! I can take care of myself’ I thought
‘We’re not leaving you’ Eagle thought back
‘Yeah!’ simba, simba wa kike agreed. I groaned.
“Who are you?” he repeated
‘Should we tell them?’ Eagle asked. I pondered that.
‘We tell them. Everything. And if they don’t believe us, we run before they have a chance to attack’ I decided
“I am Vixen, ex-member of the League of Shadows since I blew up their HQ” I explained
“I am Eagle, ex-member of the League of Shadows since I helped vixen escape” Eagle said
“I am Lioness, ex-member of the League of Shadows since I went against my master and help vixen escape with Eagle” simba, simba wa kike explained
“And we are the Carnivores, trained genetically mutated assassins that work for no man” I finished. Then, two of them started to laugh.
“A bunch of little girls work for the Shadows. Ha!” the ginger laughed, wiping an imaginary tear from his eye.

"Yes. But is it worth it to own her?"

"I've seen her work at a small amount of power. I wonder how destructive she can be at full power. This girl can, no, will be, the end of the Justice League."
"Of course, sir."
"Leave me." The girl nodded, her red eyes glimmering in the dark. Then she exited without a sound.
The boy stepped out from the shadows, his yellow eyes darting around the screens. Each screen had a different picture of the same girl. He reached out and picked one.
"We've waited a long time for you, deary. It's time to come home."
"That is false. The girl is mine, and she knows that. However, with the bat and bird protecting her, it will be difficult."
