*Sorry, but i have been really busy the past few days, and was unable to write, so here is what i could squeeze out...*
“Hey, Babe? Let’s forget the little boo-boo and work this out? Ok?” Blade asked, looking at me. I didn’t know how to reply. “Um, I’m just going to-“ I stopped myself and sighed. “Can I have my Marafiki back?” I asked in a much zaidi calm manner than before. “Hold, on.” Cheshire alisema suspiciously. “Take off the gear.” She ordered. Carefully, I took a step back and shook my head ever so slightly. Cheshire let out a growl and motioned her hand. Chameleon appeared inayofuata to Roy, holding a gun against his head. Shadow then morphed up inayofuata to Alana, holding another gun to her head. “Take. Off. The. Gear.” Cheshire alisema slowly. Without hesitation I quickly slipped it off, and a crewmen standing inayofuata to Cheshire came to pick it up. Blade stepped up to the front of the crowd. “That’s not all, is it?” He sneered. “Hey, B? wewe really annoy me sometimes.” I added sharply, and grabbed the attached pouch of darts and a mini-handgun that I kept sewn into the bottom inside of my pants for dire emergencies. Blade walked over to me and grabbed the pouch out of my hand, stealing a quick kiss on the cheek as he did. “Now, let my Marafiki go.” I alisema sternly. Cheshire thought for a few seconds, and then quickly looked at me in the eyes. “No. Kill them.” She looked over at Roy and Alana. “Wait!” I shouted out of impulse. “Let’s make a trade. Me for them.” I sighed, and then continued. “Me, and let them live.” I was being completely stupid right now, but I kept telling myself that I was the leader and that I needed to take charge. Cheshire just shrugged, and then snapped her fingers. Roy and Alana fell to the ground, and before I could say au do anything else, Chameleon disappeared then reappeared behind me, holding my arms down to my sides so that I couldn’t move. “Change of plans.” Cheshire said. “What? wewe guys are all-” Blade cut me off, “Sydney, we are doing this for your own good.” He alisema gently, a tone that I rarely heard from him. “What are wewe talking about? Why do wewe need to endanger my Marafiki if this is about me?” I asked/shouted back. Before Blade could answer, Copycat walked up in front of me and looked me over, then morphed slowly, into… me. She smiled, and then simply walked into the base. “No!” I shouted, but obviously no one inside could hear me since the walls were soundproof. “You see, wewe were never really an orphan, they just wanted wewe to believe that wewe were.” Blade said. “Who? wewe mean that mean lady from the orphanage?” I asked. “No. The Seekers.” Cheshire interrupted. “Your brother is the leader of them.” Chameleon alisema from behind me. I whipped my head back and it hit him in the chin. “OW!” He shouted. “I don’t have a brother!” I snapped. “Yes, wewe do. And with your Marafiki out of the way, it will be easier for wewe to just jiunge us and be with your brother.” Blade put his hand out toward me. I slipped out of Chameleon’s grasp and slowly, but reluctantly took hold of it. “Stay with us.” He whispered. “Chase,” I started, keeping my face as solemn as I could. I had to keep this act up if I wanted to save my friends. “Blade.” He corrected. We kissed, slowly and for a moment, passionately. He was distracted, and I quickly and quietly slipped out one of my vials of power reducer and let a drop of it fall to his hand. He stepped back in agony. I hooped it would give enough time for the others to get some of their powers back and get out of there. It was supposed to lower your power level for several minutes, and it burned like… Before I could so anything else, something hard hit the back of my head, I felt dizzy and fell down. My vision was starting to blur and all I could hear was shouting of people back and forth, and something hard and cold on my hands. All I could think at this point was, “Epic plan fail…”
