“Hey guys! Guess what?!” Becca asked running in.
“What?” Robin asked, giving her a quick kiss.
Becca blocked a ngumi, punch meant for Robin, who had been training with Artemis before Becca entered. The two girls looked at Robin, who bowed playfully before stepping out of the way. Artemis gave another punch, which Becca dodged.
“What's got wewe in a ball of excitement?” Wally asked.
“You aren't going to believe this,” Becca said, still fighting as she talked. “But I was able to convince Batman to let a very old friend of mine jiunge the team!”
“How many of these Marafiki do wewe have?” Wally asked.
“Alot! I've been so many places that it's a little hard not to have many friends.”
“I've been a lot of places too and I don't have that many super-powered friends!”
“Yeah but wewe never stay in one place long enough.”
“True.”
Becca knocked Artemis down and the screen gave Artemis her grade.
“So when do we get to meet your friend?” Artemis asked as Becca helped her up.
“As soon as Batman's here.”

“This is Evelyn Stone. Also known as Nero. She is your new team member. Let's make her feel welcome so this is the last one I have to introduce.”
A girl with auburn hair and sea blue eyes stood inayofuata to Batman. Her smile was genuine and hopeful. The Dark Knight turned and exited the mountain.
“Evy!” Becca screamed.
The girl broke into a grin as Becca practically tackled her.
“Easy Bec. This isn't the first time we've been on the same team.”
“Hmmm. I just missed you!”
“Bec, look at me for a minute.”
Becca looked up at her friend. Evy gave her a smack on the back of the head, followed kwa a flick on the nose.
“You've Lost your mind, Bec,” Evy whispered.
“No! Just because I saw you, like, three hours ago, doesn't make me crazy!”
Evy laughed and hugged her younger friend. Although Evy was two years older than Becca, she loved seeing the thirteen mwaka old girl get defensive. It just made her so cute.
“Ah! You're blushing Becca! So cute!”
Becca pulled away from her friend, her blush deepening.
“Shut up!”
“Awww! It's so cute when wewe blush!”
Becca groaned and hid her face in Robin's chest. Robin wrapped his arms around her with a smile.
“Nice to see wewe again Evy.”
“Same to wewe Robin. Keep a tight reign on that one. She's devious.”
Becca shouted something but the words were muffled and blocked.
“What was that Becca?”
Becca turned her head.

Becca groaned again and broke free from him. She looked around for a quick sekunde before going over to Artemis. Artemis allowed her to hid her face and decided to defend her young teammate.
“Alright. No more. Don't make Becca flustered. Unless wewe want an imprint of your body on the wall.”
“Good point.”
“Hey I'm Artemis,” she introduced herself to Evy.
“Hey.”
“This is Kaldur, Megan, Connor, and Wally.”
“Sweet.”
“Kaldur is Jade's boyfriend and Connor is Megan's,” Becca explained. “And Artemis is dating another guy who isn't on the team. He used to be on ours. Shift. Remember Adam?”
“I thought he had a thing for Kitten?”
“Nope. She was just a distraction apparently.”
“Oh. Wow. Didn't expect that.”
“I did!”
“Yeah well you're kinda psychic. It doesn't count!”
“Jealous?”
“Nah. I've had harder times.”
Becca stuck her tongue out at her friend and Evy returned the favor.
“So what's life like at Mt. J?” Evy asked
“Hectic.”
“Cray.”
“Okay.”
“Never dull.”

“Usually fine although it can be hard.”
“Slow. But interesting.”
Evy laughed, looking for Becca to explain what had been alisema at once.
