“I changed?”
“Yes. wewe grew weary and bored. wewe became tired of constantly saving me. wewe stopped caring the night Sam entered. And I don't blame you. I've not been easiest to be with.”
“But wewe agreed to us breaking up!”
“What was I supposed to do Robin?! Force wewe to stay in a relationship wewe got tired of? I don't play games. wewe knew that. Everything was for real. And I let wewe go. I'd rather never see wewe again than see wewe when wewe don't upendo me.”
“Becca...”
“I have to go.”
“Not yet.”
Robin grabbed her hand, pulling her towards him. Becca looked up at him, fear and desire in her eyes. He looked down at her, wrapping his arms around her loosely.
“Please. Stop toying with me.”
“Who alisema we were playing?”
“You have Sam. Why would wewe want me?”
“Because I-”
Becca looked up at him. Her eyes were vulnerable and hurt.
“You can't answer can you?”
Robin just stared, caught up in her gaze. She gave him a sad smile.
“Let me know when you're done playing. We can talk then.”

Sam looked at the pair from her window. Becca was a distraction. She would have to go. Sam's eyes glowed purple and she spoke her spell.
“ACCEB OT EM!”
Becca appeared in front of her.
“Sam?”
“Becca. You've been a busy girl.”
“What are wewe talking about?”
“Distracting Robin. You're all he ever talks about.”
“Really?”
“Yes. But wewe need to be taken care of.”
“And how would wewe do that?”
“SU OT YM RETSAM!”

Willow looked at the clock on the wall. 9:34 p.m. Worry filled her moyo and she paced around the room. The door opened and Erin entered.
“Did wewe find her?” Willow asked.
“She isn't back? We looked everywhere! There's no sign of her. She didn't call?”
“No. I'm worried Erin.”
“We'll find her Willow. But we might need to-”
“No. If we don't find her kwa sunrise, we'll tell Young Justice. But not before. Understand?”
“Yes. I just hope we don't get them involved.”
“That makes two of us.”

Robin looked up at the ceiling, laying in his bed. It was past lights out at the mountain but Robin couldn't sleep. Becca's vulnerable eyes haunted his mind. She had looked so broken, so torn. But there was also a lust and desire in her eyes that seemed to hakikisha his earlier thought. She hadn't wanted to let go. But she had chosen to anyway. Why? Because she loves you, idiot! Robin shook his head, trying to clear his mind. But Becca was heavy on his mind, despite his attempts. The way she seemed to avoid him, the way she had spoken to him, the way she had revealed her heart. All these things stormed his mind. When he had talked to her earlier, she hadn't cried. But she may as well have been crying. Her eyes looked so broken, like she was about to give up.
“Why can't she stay out of my head?”
Robin rolled to his side, hoping he could get some sleep that way. He was wrong. The picture of Becca seemed to be alive in the moonlight. Her bright smile, her joyful eyes. Even the way she had put her hand in her hair. It was the old Becca. And the difference between the two scared him. Becca had admitted practically starving herself. And the way she described him breaking up with her...it was clear she wasn't ready to let go. She had never wanted to let go. She had stayed in upendo with him, despite the fact that he had hurt her. Becca had made a lot of mistakes. But, as he thought about it, he realized they weren't her fault.
“She follows commands without question. Give her the wrong one, it's your fault.”
Batman's words came back to him and he understood what his mentor had meant. Becca had always been loyal. The team had aliyopewa her the wrong directions. The wrong commands. And she had thought the mistakes were all her fault. Robin picked the picture up, staring at it. Tears came to his eyes as the realization hit.
“Oh Becca. What have we done? What have I done?”
The mountain was silent but a stirring arose inside him. The zaidi he thought, the clearer every situation became. Becca had been taught to be loyal to Marafiki and family. She had never aliyopewa up, even knowing the consequences. Her mind, her heart, wouldn't let her. Everything was selfless. And loving. Her loyalty had caused her problems. But she had always overcome these trials. But this one, loosing Robin, it seemed worse than all the others. She seemed to be giving into the rules she'd never followed. And it was killing her from the inside out. The thought shook Robin to his core and the stirring seemed to grow until he recognized what he was feeling. He'd loved Becca before. And he did again. But this upendo was deeper, stronger. And he realized that, in his heart, he had never truly aliyopewa Becca up. Just hid the truth from himself.
“Oh Becca,” he repeated. “If only wewe were here right now. I would be able to tell wewe the truth. Tell wewe how much I upendo you. Tell wewe I want wewe back.”
