Nudge opened her eyes and looked around in front her May had her knees pulled up to her chest with tears streaking her cheeks. Nudge looked over at her brother who sitting up against the cage with his arms folded across his chest. Nudge smiled slightly at Fang, he just glared back. Fang was pissed and Nudge could tell. A whitecoat with glasses grabbed Nudge and pulled her along
"We're going to do a little experimenting and you're up first." They pushed Nudge into a maze.
"Now, we're going to time wewe see how evolved wewe have became." Nudge looked around and tried to stretch her wings out.
"You clipped my wings behind my back!"
"Yes, to keep wewe from cheating. Now, let the training begin!" Nudge took off, rounding the first corner, then sekunde coming to a dead end. She stopped and screamed as electricity streamed through her feet and into her body. Gotta keep moving, if I don't they'll electrocute me to death. Nudge thought. She rounding another corner slamming into a door and tumbling through it.
"1: 59 Nudge. Now, get the boy." the whitecoats tossed Fang into the new reconstructed maze, he stumbled onto the ground. Nudge laughed as her brother cussed every breath and called the whitecoats every name he could think of while getting up. A buzzer sounded and Fang sped off taking sharp rights and lefts until he slammed into a dead end. Fang shook his head as a spark of electricity went up through his feet and into the rest of his body. "What the?" Another spark of electric soared through him this time hotter. Fang turned and kept running. "Where's the flippin' door?" He turned left and slammed through it almost knocking his sister over. "Found it."
"1:30 Fang." A whitecoat came over the speaker. "Go again. Beat your old time." The whitecoats grabbed Fang and shoved him back into the maze. The buzzer sounded and Fang started running Left, left, right, left, right, right, left, left, right. Nudge's voice filled Fangs head. He burst through the doors.
" 0:59. Very well. Take them back to their cages. We'll continue this tomorrow" they shoved Fang, and Nudge into their cages and left. Nudge looked at May, still sitting in the same position they had left her in.
"May? Are wewe awake?" the girl looked up at them.
"I am now." the words dragged off her tongue. "Why?"
"Did they do anything do you?"
"No. I haven't moved." May laid her head on her knees.
"I have a feeling we're going to be here a while." Nudge curled up in her cage and fell asleep.
