Jessica was happy. Oh, so elated and happy. Nothing else if not excited. She totally had Fin in her control. What she’d have done so many years zamani for this. It wasn’t exactly Fin, though, but whatever... and she only had her one siku a week. Still.
“Well, F-Phoenix...” she began, watching Fin’s body radiate heat. “Can you, like...”
“Of course.”
The heat died down a bit, and Jessica wiped the tiny line of sweat from her forehead. “What can wewe do?”
“Everything the girl can do, but with much zaidi power and control.”
Jessica grinned. “Can wewe kill?”
“If wewe want me to.”
Jessica gave a startled laugh. This was perfect! She could finally kill that little son-of-a-bitch Dick. The fun of it was that she wasn’t going to kill him, Fin was. And so what if that prophecy shit didn’t happen? The world would be saved, hooray, and Jessica might be able to watch Fin kill all her Marafiki and family! Jessica smiled evilly and turned to Fin.
“We’re going to have so much fun together...”

Danna typed furiously, muttering under her breath. Dick typed on the other side of the room, watching the screens for any type of irregular pattern of heat. He looked to his sister, who wiped a bead of sweat from her forehead. “Is it... warm? In here, to you?” she asked, turning to her brother.
“Um... no.” He pointed to her pocket. “That might have something to do with it.”
She looked down and found that her pocket was glowing. She lifted Kyra’s mkufu out of it, and instantly dropped it. “It burned me!” she exclaimed, bending over it and picking it up carefully with a bobby pin. It was pulsing slightly, to a certain rhythm, and was emitting waves of slight heat. “I don’t understand...”
“It’s a charm,” came a voice from the doorway. Kaylee walked in and pulled her red waves from her face, holding out her hand. Danna carefully dropped it in. “Fin left this with wewe two because it tells wewe when she’s in trouble. Delta...” Kaylee sighed. “Fin’s in mortal danger.”
“Say what now?” Mercy asked from the couch, peering over. Blade paused pouring a cup of coffee and Becca looked over from the computer. Phoebe looked out from the hall. “She’s going to...”
Kaylee held up the locket, which still pulsed. “It’s going to the beat of her heart.”
Everyone stared until the alarm blasted and Dick looked to the screen. “F-Phoenix...” he muttered, and they were off.

I watch wewe stand,
wewe enjoy,
wewe spinn my head,
I know your name, Roy.
wewe cant hide,
I will find you,
A guy like you, should wear a warning.
I can see wewe now,
I can see wewe there,
Watching me,
But maybe, i dont care.
Your red hair,
Your eyes i can watch,
wewe upendo me,
Kick it up a notch?
Babe wewe cant have me,
I like to play hard to get,
wewe cant catch me,
I'll take my chance, its a bet.
I slip through wewe fingers everytime,
I kiss your lips,
I run through your hair,
With my finger tips.
And as my tohuge touched you,
I stood on the ledge, and fell back,
wewe try to catch,
But i slipp through.
Your face is stone cold,
But i know your mourning,
A guy like you,
Should wear a warning.

I'm standing, i'm hiding,
wewe can't see me, invisible,
But i'm fighting.
I'm fighting on the inside,
I'm fighting with my heart,
wewe see me, whole,
But I know,
I'm falling, falling,
Apart.
Memories are going,
We are fighting, on the rooftop,
Close to falling, way up high,
Our silhouettes, shadows for,
The night sky.
You're tired, as am I
But one must win,
We won't give up,
Fighting, in pain, I
must end,
Now cry.
You've won, that's fine,
But wewe take pity, forget the fight,
wewe helped me, wewe saved me,
Gave me my light.
wewe can't see me, invisible,
But i'm fighting.
I'm fighting on the inside,
I'm fighting with my heart,
wewe see me, whole,
But I know,
I'm falling, falling,
