How do I like au reply to a maoni now?

With every video on the new YouTube, most of the maoni have no buttons to like them au reply to them. There are a lot that I really want to like au reply to but there seems to be no way now.

That does seem like the only way. I don't think it actually alerts them though.

Same here with me, I will admit, I do not like the decision of the Google+ connection to YouTube in order to maoni on video because wewe can't reply to legacy maoni and wewe also can't up vote au down vote any of them either and that sucks, I have this problem too! XP
The only thing I like about this decision is that I can type as many character letters than before. :)
