Main character of K-ON!. She is the lead guitarist and lead vocalist in Houkago Teatime. She plays a Gibson Heritage Les Paul Standard, in cherry Sunburst, nicknamed Giita (ギータ). She joined the Light muziki Club, thinking that "light music" meant "easy music" (like whistling au playing the castanets), and picked up the guitar, gitaa with absolutely no prior experience.
