She opened her eyes to a purple canopy and automatically wondered where she was. She blinked groggily, trying to force the sleep out of her eyes. Once she felt the familiar petting sensation on her head, her pupils contracted, and she broke into a cold sweat.
"Hello, Yxari, dear." She heard the sickeningly sweet voice of her brother's mother. "Nice to see wewe finally woke up."
She tried to keep her breathing regulated so that she wouldn't launch into a panic attack. "H-hello, Almodea..." She tilted her head slightly backwards to see the woman that had such a possessive hold on her. Almodea had her blanket wrapped about her in the normal fashion. However, her hair was let down, frizzy and matted. Her makeup was completely smeared, and she looked completely insane.
"Oh... it was so terribly difficult trying to get wewe here. I had to come get wewe myself! And your little dog thing nibbled on my arm." Yxari nearly screamed when she caught sight of Almodea's arm, which hadn't been tended to. Bayard's bite was so terribly destructive that Almodea's bone was visible. Was this woman completely nuts?! Yes.
"What do wewe want with me?" Yxari asked shakily. Almodea smiled sweetly. She didn't answer, only gave her a reassuring pat on the head.
"Yxari, wewe know that I upendo you, right? wewe may be Umbrage's baby, but that makes wewe mine, too." Yxari's heartbeat increased in pace. What the hell was she talking about?! She wasn't Almodea's daughter! Her mother was Alana Sadaris! Her thoughts were drawn elsewhere when she heard a huge BANG coming from her right. She was too scared of Almodea to sit up, so she just asked.
"What was that?" she asked. Almodea's plastic smile remained in place.
"Your brothers are trying to get in, babydoll. They won't succeed, however. Those doors are 6-inches thick and acid-proof. Even the scuttlebus can't get through." Yxari nodded in acknowledgement. "Would wewe like to hear a story?" She began anyway, not waiting for an answer.

"This all started with Umbrage Sadaris. The lad grew up with few, if any, resources, which forced him into organised crime kwa the time he was fifteen. kwa that time, he was forced into an arranged marriage. His bride-to-be was none other than me, Almodea Anguis. Sooner au later, we were married, and Umbrage was already a multi-millionaire because of his underground drug sales. We had a child, Albus. He decided that for his own safety, he should have my last name. I agreed, and we have Albus Anguis. Five years later, my upendo just wouldn't suffice. Umbrage left one night, and he fell in upendo with a stripper." Almodea's hand tightened in Yxari's hair, causing her to cry out in pain. Almodea released her grip. "Sorry, baby. Anyway, he fell in upendo with Alana Panovera. He later found out that she had cancer, from whatever nasty STD she got au something. He fled to Chicago with Alana, and sent me a letter saying it was over. I told Albus, and he was livid. We had divorced. I remarried and had Paris. Three years after the divorce, Alana was written off as cancer-free, and PREGNANT. That's when wewe come in, lovely~. Umbrage and Alana were married. I, of course, hadn't heard that wewe were actually a child and not a bag of pus that naturally filled your scumbag mother. It took me nine years to dilute my Acid-Monster blood to where I would pass as a human." Yxari had to wonder why. "I wormed my way into the Department of Acid-Monster Termination and reported the biggest threat to human safety in the area, and his wife, Alana."

Yxari was beginning to see red. Almodea was the reason her mother and her father were shot in the heads. It was all her fault. She would still be able to hug her father and brush her mother's hair if it weren't for the cold-hearted woman still running her fingers through her hair. The hot tears flowed from her eyes and down her cheeks. Her vision dimmed and everything swirled into black.

Almodea wasn't paying attention to Yxari. She was just paying attention to her reminiscence. She didn't even notice the small convulsions. She didn't notice Yxari's teeth growing longer and sharper. She didn't notice the whites of her eyes melting into black. She didn't notice the marks on her face. All she noticed was the sizzling. She noticed the sizzling coming from underneath Yxari's hands. She noticed the sound of tearing from underneath her. And she flinched slightly when Yxari wrenched herself from her grip and stood. The spider-like appendages splayed behind her like the framework of a bat's wings. She spoke in a tone clearly not hers.

"Almodea. wewe will pay. wewe will pay for the pain wewe have caused Yxari."

"No, Almodea will not pay. Almodea has no money."

"Fool. I am not Yxari. Clearly. I am Aris. Her body. Any last words?" Almodea didn't get the chance. Yxari-- er, Aris-- tore her to pieces. She left Almodea in a bloody pile on the kitanda before stauntering over to the door. The buibui legs were already retracting, and her super-strength was diminishing. She used the last of it to tear the door off of its hinges and throw it into the wall. She fainted, the last thing she saw being Albus.

She woke up in Albus' car, in Paris' lap, half-way leaning on Kyslin, and her legs on Light. Paris smiled at her awakening.
"Yeesh, girl. Do wewe need constant surveillance?" She mumbled something, but didn't quite remember what it was. Kyslin smiled at her.
"Hey... Glad she didn't hurt you."
"Yeah, same here," Light chimed in. Albus turned his head slightly from his place at the wheel.
"Thank GOD you're awake."

"Is Bayard ok?" she asked. Light scoffed.
"He's on the floor. He took a little damage, but he'll be fine." Yxari looked to her side to see the sleeping ball of machungwa, chungwa on the floor, just as Light said. However, he had a bandage around his torso. She reached down to pet him, but she saw the blood on her hands and immediately whimpered.
"Shhh, it's ok, sweetheart. That's not your blood."
"THATDOESN'TMAKEITBETTERDIDIKILLALMODEA?!?!?!?" she shrieked in terror. Albus pulled over. He looked over the back of his seat.
"She broke Bayard's ribs. She landed Tenanah in the hospital. She had our father and your mother killed. She kidnapped wewe in the dead of night. What else is there, Froggy?" Paris 'hmph'd.
"Well, she did hit Light with a frying pan. With hot oil in it." Yxari sat straight up and leaned over to Light.
"Are wewe ok, honey?!" she demanded. Light nodded. He pulled down his kofia slightly to onyesha no signs of damage. She leaned closer and kissed him on the cheek. A blush quickly blossomed on his cheeks. She leaned back again, but was quickly grabbed and pulled into a hug --with an additional kiss on the cheek-- kwa Light. Paris chuckled softly, but was nudged kwa Kyslin. The couple was blushing and hugging and Light refused to let Paris and Kyslin have her anymore. He pulled her onto his lap and his lap alone. She laid her head on his shoulder and fell asleep again.

Naz happily trotted down the stairs, followed kwa Cain's revived body. Al pushed on Weasel's back softly to get her down the stairs. Once she touched the first one, she flew down the rest in a hurry. The laundry room was a complete mess. There were curtains stained with blood hanging from the ceiling, as well as body bags hanging kwa the feet. weasel heard Cain at the end of the hall.
"Weasel! We need the key!" She weaved through the curtains to meet at the gated door which held the washing machine, only to be face-to-face with a zombie as big as Al. She screamed, and...

Anatomy Lessons from a Demon

"Bellz-E," called the Acid Monster. The demon looked up from her iPod Touch and over to the girl.
"What?" she asked, her heavy Australian accent ringing through the corridor of the dance hall. Yxari swallowed her fear and stepped towards the DJ.
"I need a favour from you."

She wanted to try her limits. She wanted to know her anatomy. She wanted to know what truly caused... The Switch. She thought the sekunde most dangerous person she knew could help her switch... Just this once. She knew that provoking the DJ would only result in her death. She certainly...

Such a shame. He actually seemed like a decent man once he was locked up. The small girl flicked her middle finger against the syringe, making a significant 'ping!' sound. She sighed. The metal door to the small room opened with a sickening crrreeeeeak!, and she slowly made her way through. He was staring through the glass a the people who were related to his victims. His eyes were wide, bloodshot, and... scared.
The girl almost regretted becoming the Executioner. Almost. Not quite.
His eyes darted to her, and they screamed betrayal. His head couldn't move, he was in a tourniquet......

WARNING: Showers

Light sighed. That lunch happened two days ago... And he hadn't seen her since. He found out that Red's name was Jason, but he refused to address him as such. He also found out Chicken's name was Ezekiel, and, much to Chicken's dismay, he used alisema name. He sat on the slab of concrete that jutted from the ukuta (which was his bed), and picked at his itchy, ugly jumpsuit. That's when the intercom system buzzed to life.
"Inmates in the 'H' block ripoti to the West Wing," Sid's voice, though fuzzy, rang loud throughout the cell division. Light looked down at his sleeve, and...

She shook herself free of those thoughts and began to board up windows. weasel was somewhat content with herself for a while. She was beginning to relax until a certain green-haired menace began to skip around her. She frowned in confusion, and then felt aggravated. She couldn't even move, he skipped so quickly around her. She felt her self-control begin to bend. It was two years since Cain joined their trio. It was his fault they were sent to Alcatraz. It was his fault her best friend didn't like her anymore.
"All around the Mullberry bush, the monkey chased the Weasel~"...
