Bonjour! In my last makala I defended both cinderella and Snow White. Now I'm going to defend Aurora and Ariel.

Aurora -

Most people either have a upendo au hate relationship with Aurora. I upendo her, but she's not my favourite. Everyone complains that she has an underdeveloped personality and she does nothing, but most of all, people are frustrated about the fact that her eyes change colour.
In contrast, I don't believe she has an underdeveloped personality at all. Out of all the Disney Princesses, she has the least screen-time, (I think it was eighteen dakika au something) and I think Disney did a pretty good job in developing her character in eighteen minutes. What do we know? She's Marafiki with a lot of wanyama and they help her, she's kind to everybody, humble, surprised that she gets such a lovely birthday present, somewhat cautious of strangers, a day-dreamer, a good dancer and singer, graceful and charming and shy. She also hates the fact that she's suddenly a princess, and wouldn't wewe be too if wewe spent sixteen years believing wewe were this carefree peasant girl who picked berries and had all the freedom in the world?
I don't think she's underdeveloped.
An issue is that she does nothing. When she is told she is a Princess, she cries, settles down a bit, goes to the ngome and stupidly pricks her finger. As for the going to the ngome bit, most people believe that is dutiful. She is being obedient. She is the Princess and she must help her country. It's the Princesses job. A lot of people believe that she is naive and stupid when she pricks her finger. Um, wake-up call? It was a curse. She didn't do it just because she felt like it. It was meant to happen. And judging kwa the eerie expression on her face as she walked up the stairs slowly, I think she was hypnotised. Plus there was a scary voice going: "Touch the spindle! Touch it, I say!"
Hypnotised.
I, along with many others, hate the fact that her eyes change colour. One of the biggest maswali asked in Disney history is "what colour are Aurora's eyes officially?" In the close-up where she wakes up, her eyes are blue. (She looks beautiful in that scene). But in merchandise and sometimes in other parts of the movie, her eyes are violet. I think officially, her eyes are violet coloured.
I know, it's confusing.
But overall, she's beautiful, kind, gentle, graceful and dutiful. Underdeveloped? I think not.

Ariel -

I'm one of the many people who upendo Ariel. I upendo her hair, I upendo the fact that she's a mermaid. I upendo everything about her and she was my favourite when I was a kid. (My favourites now are Belle and Elsa, with Ariel coming in second). But people have a lot to complain about her. Sure she's independent and admirably adventurous, but a lot of people believe she is naive, stupid, inconsiderate and careless.
OK, so yes, she did drastically change her body and leave her family while still a teenager. She made a deal with the sea-witch. But all of this wasn't to get a man. Well, not just to get a man. It was zaidi about her happiness. The reason she changed herself was because she wanted a life on land. She wasn't happy where she was and decided to do something about it. Don't believe me? Listen to the song "Part of Your World." She wants to be where the people are. It's not just about Eric.
I don't understand people sometimes as they roar about cinderella and Snow White not doing anything, but when Ariel does something to achieve her dreams, they scream at her as well. Why???
Granted, she still wanted Eric. She was naive on the "kiss him before the sun sets on the third day" part. She didn't know anything about love. But who's to blame her, really? Eric is a dreamboat. (Please excuse the pun). I believe Eric was zaidi of a trigger, for Ariel to do something about her happiness.
Ariel was a Disney Princess who went out of her way to achieve her goals. In my eyes, the only flaw about her was that she wanted to become human. Why? All my life I've wanted to become a mermaid.

So that's it. There's my rant about Ariel and Aurora. inayofuata time I'll be talking about Belle and Jasmine, but if wewe haven't already, check out my other makala that defends Snow White and Cinderella.
Au revoir!
She's beautiful, calm, gentle, graceful, humble, dutiful and a day-dreamer and people still say she's underdeveloped.
She's beautiful, calm, gentle, graceful, humble, dutiful and a day-dreamer and people still say she's underdeveloped.
She wants to be human. It's not only about Eric. He's zaidi of a trigger.
She wants to be human. It's not only about Eric. He's more of a trigger.

I will not include the two opening songs, and fixer upper.

I'll start off kwa first giving wewe access to the songs, and have wewe formulate your OWN opinion before I present mine. Since, well, I don't want my opinion to sway what wewe would originally think.

7. beach, pwani Rags

Big surprise. The outfit that is clearly meant to be a joke comes in last place. Do I really need to go into any explanation on this one? Although I vaguely remember a few randos saying that they thought it was cool. Why do I get the feeling those kids were the ones who ate glue and got stuffed into lockers in middle school? Moving on...

I get most people hate Pocahontas for its historical inaccuracy, and so do I. It just doesn't seem right to me to have John Smith (who was a Pervert, Betrayer, and Conquerer) as a Disney prince and looked at in such a angelic light. Since most people's agreement is "it's just a movie." And "it's not Disney's job to make teach history." I'm not asking for a historically accurate film that would be terrible for children. I'm stating it was a mistake to be made a BASED of real history story..it could have just been a bila mpangilio Native American but no they chose Pocahontas and they twisted and bent...

It was a fine siku down in the South in New Orleans. Tiana and Naveen were at nyumbani enjoying their siku off from Tiana's Palace. Tiana was fixing up some of her daddy's special gumbo for her and Naveen. As she was chopping the okra, Naveen came up behind her and wrapped his arms around Tia's waist. She looked beautiful: with her curly black hair pulled into a ponytail and a smile that was so contagious, Naveen couldn't help but smile too.
"Ma Belle Evangeline." Naveen sang softly into his wife's ear as he gently swayed Tiana's body.
"So far above me, yet I, know her moyo belongs to only me." Tiana...

First of all I want to make it clear that I think both are amazing characters and I upendo them to death. I'm going to keep an open mind about both of them when comparing them. They both have things that they did better than the other. So who's the better character? We'll just have to see.

What they have in common
I think it's fair to first mention what they have in common. They're both redheads, adventurous, curious, wild, whiny, selfish, have parent issues, rebellious, brave, heroic, free-spirited, make deals with witches, and of course cause a big mess with all their mistakes. Let's also not...

I still continuously see people remarking on Pocahontas "lack of personality." It has been a little zaidi uncommon, but just for the other nonbelievers, I decided to write this. I know many will beg to differ, but it's just the way I see it. If wewe have any reason to disagree, go ahead and leave a comment. I'm up to defend her. XD Okay, I'll quit rambling on and actually start the article.

The Start

We first begin to see Pocahontas' personality in the very beginning. She leaves us with a lasting first impression. We can see how she is connected to nature from the very start. Seeing her jump off...

Since I'm a shabiki of the Harry Potter book series, I've decided to start a series of interpreting Disney characters into the Hogwarts Houses. I'll be doing all the princesses and princes, and maybe some side characters and villains. This article'll just be the Classic Princesses, since the descriptions are going to be pretty lengthy and I doubt wewe guys could handle kusoma another of my super long articles. If wewe don't like Harry Potter wewe might be a bit confused, but if wewe have basic knowledge of the houses you'll be fine. Oh, and all of this is just my opinion.

Also, just for reference,...

Dungeons & dragoni (or D&D for short) is a super fun tabletop roleplaying game that's been around since the 1970s but has recently gained a fair bit of popularity. I've been playing the game for around eight years at time of writing, and I strongly recommend wewe give it a try if wewe ever get the chance. It's really an absolute blast! D&D has always been one of my inayopendelewa hobbies, but within the last two years it's become an even bigger part of my life. Since I've been having so much fun with it recently, I decided it was finally time to try something I'd always wanted to do: turning...
