Yeah, Naveen isn't controlling either. The only reason I put Shang before him was because Naveen started out as a sexist pig and could occasionally slip into his old ways. I'm surprised Phillip is getting votes. He seems to treat Aurora like a possession, in my opinion anyway.

That line in particular is objectifying women. He changes for the better and develops as a character, as I said earlier, I would have voted for him, but I think Shang just showed a smidge less chance of being an ass.

princesslullaby: That line I used as an example to me means that he doesn't want one girl to love and cherish, he wants several girls to lust over...which is the equivalent of seeing them as sex objects. It's kind of sexist but as I said twice, he changes for the better throughout the story which is why i will vote for him soon.

ppv: I just found Phillip to be controlling when he first met Aurora. She would continuously try to run off and he would sort of patronizingly just hold her by the wrist and not let her leave.
