Can someone please tell me how wewe make your own icons?

I've been trying to do ANYTHING on paint, but it is always either messed up au it didn't work. Can someone please help me?

wewe might want to try a better graphic program. Paint.net and GIMP are both free to download and very good. They both take a bit to learn though. Picnik.com is also good and it's all online.
