life lights up
your luscious eyes
lips that seem as soft
as a rose petal
yet they have
never graced mine

a moyo this filled
with care and love
and a mind that is
filled with wonder
things i can not
figure out
but draw me in
just the same

only time can tell
how long of it
we can spend together
so every sekunde is dear
i am happy
with wewe near

with wewe
everything is bright
and not even the
darkest abyss
could ever rip
away the light
in your
luscious eyes

maoni please...:)and i wrote this just in general so if want tell me who it reminds wewe of. maybe a upendo au a crush who ever they are boy and girl alike tell me if wewe like

 keep it up
keep it up
Keep your head up the lord
will bring u back up. The stars
and the heavens of earth will
put u in the right place at all times.

Keep your head up an evil friendship,a foney
smile will try to bring u down
but as long as u keep your head up, u will
be happy for miles around.

Life is strong, life is good, the most power will
will bring u upon the sky that will reach the heavens on earth.

Catch your dreams high in the sky, fight back and express your love, don let nobody tell u wrong. U have to keep your head up at all times. U are the inayofuata greatest leaders. Fight for education and keep your head up.

Many people think they know me
But they only see the outside of me, the surface
But inside this shell another me exists
The one nobody never sees

It's a me full of thousands of desires
A me that loves upendo and venerates friendship
A me that understands your glances and your anguish
A me filled up with needs, passions and hopes

This me owns so many facets that the outside loses itself
Still, for once in my life
I finally found the human being who I can trust, entirely
To this person who is essential to my survival
And that I can let him into my universe my arms open wide
To appear to him with my naked soul...

In my core my blood runs slowly and quietly.
Like water, gently gliding down a stream.
In the center of Summer.

All it takes is a look.
Not a look of gentleness, sweetness, au pride.
It's a look of disappointment.
They make my veins stop solid.
Like Winter among the earth.

I am never seen radiant, fiery, blessed.
Just a feeling of emptiness.
I need to die away and fall to the ground.
Like the leaves of Fall.

Never ever wanting to be reborn
In Springs bliss.
Like the birds flying free above me.
Just to start the lonely agony once again.

I was never really one for poetry, but I have gained a little interest in it, so... My first try at a poem that doesn't sound like a five mwaka old wrote it. X] Criticism, comments, what ever I guess. :]

My Golden Mask

Emotions bottled behind the mask
of which no thoughts show
Beautifully carved, a blank expression
Bittersweet as no sadness can surface
yet no happiness is revealed either

This golden mask,
with blank silver eyes
becomes my burden
and my salvation

Smoothed each day
by the ignorance of others
but under the sparkling surface
are the scars of past memories
gouged into the rotting wood beneath
I...

As I sprint through the hall, he follows.
As my heels clack against the marble floor, he follows.
As my breath comes faster, he follows.
As I turn around slowly, I continue to run, he follows.

He is close to me now, he whispers my name.
He breathes heavily, and laughs maniaclly.
He stomps against the floor, harder, as he reaches for his pocket.
He smiles, small, straight white teeth gleam with insanity.

I begin to slow, my ribs are burning, my muscles ache, my mind is spinning, my eyes are crying...
He embraces me softly, gently, lovingly.
I tense, my muscles can't take much more, he's too strong, I'm too weak.
His grip tightens now, as he holds a switch blade to my throat, he begins to cry.
I also begin to cry, as his grip loosens, I fall to the marble floor, still sobbing.
He also falls, still sobbing, he drops the blade, and screams.
The Irreparable

Can we stifle the old, the lingering Remorse,
That lives, quivers and writhes,
And feeds on us like the worm on the dead,
Like the grub on the oak?
Can we stifle implacable Remorse?

In what philtre, in what potion, what wine,
Shall we drown this old enemy,
Destructive and greedy as a harlot,
Patient as the ant?
In what philtre, in what potion, what wine?

Tell it, fair sorceress, O! tell it, if wewe know,
To this spirit filled with anguish,
So like a dying man crushed beneath the wounded,
Who is struck kwa the horses' shoes;
Tell it, fair sorceress, O! tell it, if wewe know,

To this dying man whom...

When the selfishness,
Has wewe in its grasp
And wewe cannot break free
Nor admit to it
You must stay silent

When wewe want someone
To be yours
Yet they are anothers
Does it make wewe selfish
To want the one they have?

When wewe want the one
Someone has
You are selfish
For that is theres
Not yours

Find your own
Although the one
You want
Makes wewe happy
When the rest cannot

The one wewe want
May do the same for others
Nevertheless, wewe want him
For yourself
However, it will not happen

You want the rest
To remain happy
Even when your heart
Cracks every time wewe see him
For he is with another
And she is expectant
Of your selfishness...

What do wewe see
when wewe look into my eyes?
Do wewe see the emptiness
or wewe see remorse?

Could wewe ever be able
to feel the depth i’ve been hiding
from you,
so wewe couldn’t laugh,
so wewe couldn’t laugh...

What do wewe do behind my backs,
out of my sight,
what do wewe hide,
are wewe a coward?

And i’m still here
but wewe don’t own me,
you can’t have me
the way wewe want,
you can’t,
just see it in my eyes.

I froze my heart,
so wewe can’t hurt
what is dead for a while,
but wewe don’t know that,
don’t you?

You think i’ll be so happy
seeing wewe again,
oh wewe think
you could make this right,
but your touch...

Across the spreading darkness cold,
the plains charred and black,
the sun will shine and the moon will glow...
Though I'm never coming back.

The air is thick, filled with beating wings;
the mountains loom and laugh.
The valley below no longer sings
of harvest's seasons past.

Echoing in the air are screams,
desperate and harrowing and raw.
And though it was I who caused all this,
I can only stand in awe.

Not once did I think that she would break,
that she could fall, that she could crack.
It's because of this war, it's because of us,
that I won't be coming back.

I kneel beside her body still,
I kiss her frozen cheek.
Her neck is bent and burnt with ropes,
the approaching dawn is bleak.

But the future yields for naught,
and the night goes on and on.
I stand, I turn, I walk away.
kwa morning, I will be gone.

That dastardly knight, clad in red
So many tears I shed
All he ever, drones about
Is how he ruined the lives of hundreds
This is horrible nonsense, I proclaimed
Would wewe like to suffer the same?, He snarled

The knight raised his blade
He cut right through me
Faster than the shake of an earthquake
Black stars filled the sky
Terrible screams echoed through the halls
She is dead, she is dead! They called

I have left this accursed world
To roam free
Where the sun is at its prime silhouette
I can finally see His hand touch mine
We are finally one
Heavens have saved me, but the ones that love
They have mourned
Through...

This is a little poem I wrote. I wrote it from my heart, mind, body, and soul. I hope wewe like it. maoni if wewe can. :)

I’m supposed to be happy.

I’m supposed to smile.

I’m supposed to laugh.

Yet, I can’t.

I can’t forget that he’s not here.

I can’t forget that he never was.

I can’t forget that he didn’t care.

wewe were supposed to be a father to me.

wewe were supposed to upendo me.

wewe were supposed to care.

Yet, wewe didn’t.

Forgive me if I don’t understand.

I thought father’s were supposed to upendo their little girls.

I thought they were supposed to be the dad that beat up their boyfriends.

I thought that I would have a father that loved me.

But, I don’t.

He doesn’t care.

He never will.

I’ve learned to forget him.

He’s no father to me.

He never was.

I’m happy now.

I can laugh and smile.

Even without you.

Dad.
