Lily knocked on the door to her mother and father's mansion, wanting to ask them a simple question; if it was okay to allow her to take her best friend, Roxy, to her and her sister's trip to Africa.

Lily's mother answered,"Hello there! I wasn't expecting wewe to come over." Lily came in and said,"Mom, may I talk to wewe about this whole trip to Africa?"

"Sure thing, dear! Ask away!" She and her mother sat down and Lily asked her,"Mom, is it alright if my friend and roommate Roxy can come with me on the trip?"

Her mother sighed and replied,"No." Lily's eyes widened, as her moyo broke into a million pieces,"No? Why can't she come?"

Her mother hesitated to answer, as Lily replied,"Mom, why aren't wewe answering me?" Her mother sighed and said,"Dear, I don't like that girl. Isn't she the one that would dress up in those awful dark clothing that had rips and chains on them?"

Lily replied,"Yeah. We both USED to dress like that. We're mature now, not teens." Her mom huffed,"Still, I don't like that kind of influence. wewe need to be zaidi like your older sister, Debra."

Lily rolled her eyes,"Mom, I'm NOT going to be like Debbie! She's terrible!" "On the contrary, she's your sister." "I can't stand her, okay? She's awful!"

"Lilian Quinlan Worthchester!" I hate my full name!
Lily thought, as her mother kept yelling at her.

Of course, Lily drowned her out, hearing only bits and pieces of what her mother had to say;

My mom is so shitty. How did I end up with her?

"-you never follow directions-"

Yawn! Bored, bored, bored.....

"-you're very, very, stubborn-"

Oh, she is so pathetic! Maybe her and Deb can fall down a well! Then, I can act like Samarra from the Ring and have my revenge! Teeheehee!

"-and wewe never ever call me!"

Lily got up from her kiti, kiti cha and said,"Gee Mom, nice talk, but I have to go." Her mother threatened,"If wewe even think about inviting her, I'll force wewe to songesha back!"

Lily gulped. She knew her mother was serious. She knew that she would force her to songesha back and treat her twice as worse as she did when she didn't have the freedom of having her own apartment.

Lily turned around, wanting to hit her,"Fine then! I won't invite her au anything." She opened up the front door and said,"By the way, don't be so surprised if I songesha to the jungles of Africa and never return." She slammed the door, as Mrs. Worthchester stayed still, not moving an inch.

Lily slammed the door of her old beat up Chevy that her dad gave her when she was sixteen. She turned it on, put it in drive, and left her parents' house.

Her car is medium dark blue, but over the years, it developed huge nasty rust spots on the exterior. Despite the car looking like utter crap, it ran as if it were brand new.

Lily loved the car and didn't mind that her parents bought Debbie a Prius, while Lily had a hand-me-down car with nasty rust spots.

She drove to her apartment, which was smack dab in the moyo of New York City. Her parents lived outside of the city, in a beautiful mansion that the Worthchester generations had over the years.

Since so many generations had lived there, Debbie would make up these ghost stories and tell them to Lily when they were young children. After telling Lily, Lily would grab a flashlight and drape a blanket over her head and body to protect her from the "monsters" Debbie would tell her.

She would step on the cold tiled floor of the kitchen, spooked to the point of shaking at three a.m. Usually, that would be the time her father would get up to get something to eat au drink, before going back to sleep.

She saw the light coming from the refrigerator and would scream. Her father walked over to her, as Lily would start to cower down. He would always comfort her kwa saying,"Lily Pad, it's me. It's Daddy." He would flash the flashlight on himself, making Lily feel better.

He would always pick her up and comfort her, saying,"Did Debbie scare you? Aw, don't listen to her. She's just trying to pull your legs." Lily replied,"She wasn't anywhere near my legs!"

Her father would always chuckle and say,"That's just a saying. It's not to be taken literally. There's no such thing as ghosts, honey. Zombies, ghosts, demons, monsters, all of those are fake." He kissed her forehead and asked,"Since Mommy's asleep, do wewe wanna eat a little ice cream?"

Lily would nod her head, as he always said,"Remember, don't tell Mommy." "I won't, Daddy. Shh, it's a secret!"

After reminiscing about her relationship with her father, Lily
parked in the parking lot and locked her car. She saw the cracks on the rear windshield. Her ex boyfriend, Adam, had broke into it and tried to steal it.

Lily sighed, feeling so hurt to know that a guy she had trusted so much and had loved, hurt her and cheated on her so many times. It was even worse when he was drinking.

When drinking, Adam could sometimes get to the point of hitting her. Even after they broke off their relationship, he now stalks her, trying to win Lily's moyo again.

She hates it that her mother likes him. No one, other than Roxy knows about what he's done and still does to Lily. Mrs. Worthchester only likes him because his parents are also rich and successful. Mrs. Worthchester is one of those people that doesn't want to know anything behind closed doors, even if it has to do with her own children au husband.

Lily walked into her apartment, and groaned. It was once again trashed. Roxy was at work and Lily went straight to her parents' house after work. She knew who had done this.

Adam. Every time something happens, Adam is somewhere in the scene. Even if not, his trademarks are. Anytime he trashes a place, he always does it the same way.

1) He always rips up curtains. Lily never knew why, but Adam had this weird obsession of ripping up curtains.

2) He would find lipstick au buy it and scribble all over the walls. Not just any kind of lipstick, either. He always uses red and likes to write demeaning messages about his parents au the Sex Pistols band symbol.

3) He loves to take stuff out of drawers and leave them all over the place.

4) He likes taking scissors and cutting up expensive outfits and bedsheets.

5)Finally, he'll pour hair dye, shampoo, conditioner, au body wash in the toilet and not flush it.

After he's finished, he'll leave a smart punda looking note about what a "good job" he had done.

Lily knew that this had Adam written all over it. She used
to the same thing. Both Adam and Lily would break into peoples' apartments and trash them, except with Adam kwa himself, they're never as bad.

With Lily, they would pour alcohol everywhere and dig through medicine cabinets, scattering pills all over the place. Lily's life was once checkered and dangerous, until one siku she wanted to stop being a bad person.

Lily sighed deeply, That vacation is sounding better and better kwa the second.

Chapter 1
October, 1964

I lied awake on my bed.

I couldn’t sleep.

My mind was wandering, racing to different topics at the same time. I couldn’t stay on one subject in my mind for zaidi than ten seconds. I was restless.

Just then, out of nowhere, I remembered something that I particularly didn’t want to remember. But I did anyway. It was something that I hated thinking about, and something that I thought about all the time. I got up, clad in only a pair of jeans, and walked over to my closet and turned on the light. I pulled down old, dusty boxes and yellowed papers off of the closet’s...

The tiny ballerina figurine
As unique as an owl in winter
As beautiful as krisimasi morning joy
It stands alone, looking at the other toys in the girl's room.
She remembers when she first got her.
Her birthday.
Will never forget her reaction.
Other dolls came and went
But not the little figurine.
She dances slowly as the girl falls asleep
Her porcelin skin cold and shiny
Pretty white tutu dress
Always ready to dance and bring happiness
One siku she was ignored
Weeks and days went by
Her owner, forgetting her presence.
The girl grew more, and her nightlight went
Making the ballerina feel scared and alone.

 Saukerl
Saukerl
"SAUMENSCH!" I hollered from inayofuata door. Saumensch isn't really the nicest thing wewe can call someone, it is like an insult, that is, like calling someone a pig in America. But right now, I am not in America, I am in Germany, so live with it. You'll get used to it, don't worry. "SAUKERL!" Matna hollered back. Saukerl is about the same thing, except used to call men and boys that, while Saumensch is used to call girls and women that. Her name is Matna Johanasen.Anyways, my name is Carls. Carls Shotansen. Pleased to meet you. The story of "Way to Go, Saumensch: A Note From the Saukerl" all started on one foggy night...when everyone was asleep, except for one very peculiar being. And, he, was not German. He bore the symbol of the nyota of David. He was a Jew.

"This can go either way, Criss. Promise and I can be your slaves, or," she continued, even quieter and scarier than before,"you can become ours." Criss shuddered in a bad way. No human being on this earth had ever been this way before. Sure, his shabiki base was pretty insane and he's met a few less than sane...
