All good things must come to an end. If they had magically unlimited funding, no higher-ups, they probably would go on as long as they could, but at the beginning of the BTS video Rich said "Were thrilled that we got to make two more films with the Alpha and Omega characters", implying thats its not actaully there decision.

Actually... Alpha and Omega 2 didn't catch my attention as much as the original caught...so...I guess I love Alpha and Omega 1 more than the series. But that doesn't mean that I don't like A&O 2, I loved it. Mainly because it was a great comeback and pretty unexpected for the fans...but I guess no movie will beat the original one in my opinion!
