I don’t think that was a question...but yeah, it's a new mini-series slash spinoff of the original series. I think it’s going to be called Avatar: the Legend of Korra-I read that a title may still be in the works. With only twelve episodes, it focuses on the inayofuata Avatar, after Aang, a born water bender from the southern tribe, Korra. Here’s a small summary-it pretty much shows the whole outline slash plot:
The Legend of Korra takes place 70 years after the events of Avatar: The Last Airbender and follows the adventures of the Avatar after Aang - a passionate, rebellious, and fearless teenaged girl from the Southern Water Tribe named Korra. With three of the four elements under her ukanda (Earth, Water, and Fire), Korra seeks to master the final element, Air.
Her quest leads her to the epicenter of the modern “Avatar” world, Republic City – a metropolis that is fuelled kwa steampunk technology. It is a virtual melting pot where benders and non-benders from all nations live and thrive. However, Korra discovers that Republic City is plagued kwa crime as well as a growing anti-bending revolution that threatens to rip it apart. Under the tutelage of Aang’s son, Tenzin, Korra begins her airbending training while dealing with the dangers at large.
The onyesha will be darker and zaidi mature than the original show, though the creators are not trying to target a new audience (saying the original was filled with adult themes), with zaidi mature themes, but will also try to balance it out with a similar sense of fun and adventure of the original series.
On July 21, the Associated Press confirmed the series for a 2011 release.
Here’s the link to an interview with the creators on the spinoff. I think wewe may hafta copy and paste it:
