What techniques and experiences do wewe think have influenced Baz Luhrmann’s iconic movie style- specifically shown in his ‘Red Curtain Trilogy?’

I think that his was largely influenced kwa his parents and his environment and experiences while growing up. Both Baz's parents did Ballroom competitions, thus growing up around the very subject matter of his first three films.
He also dabbled in the theater - on stage and working behind. He also has a passion for opera and muziki in general.
And maybe he was inspired and influenced kwa some of his favourite films- nyota 80, 8½, War and Peace, Medium Cool and Fitzcarraldo
