Exclusive: Khandi Alexander Departs CSI: Miami

Khandi Alexander kwa Doug Hyun/CBSOK, now this is getting downright ridonkulous.

For the third time this week, I'm bringing wewe exclusive news about yet another cast shake-up at a hit procedural. This time 'round, the onyesha in swali is CSI: Miami and the departing thesp is Khandi Alexander.

Although CBS declined to comment, a Miami insider confirms that Alexander — who has played medical examiner Alexx Woods since siku one — is leaving at the end of the season. What's the story behind this exit? I'm not 100 percent certain, but, from what I gather, it wasn't one of those mutual deals we've been hearing about so much lately. Let's just say Alexander had some, um, issues with a certain aspect of the onyesha and leave it at that, K?

Meanwhile, Miami's on the prowl for a new medical examiner to succeed Alexander, and word on the mitaani, mtaa is the newbie will have male genitalia.

Sad to see Alexander go? Yes? No? Pick one and, please, elaborate away in the maoni section. And if wewe have any predictions/leads on who'll get canned next, kwa all means, share it with the class.

debster i hate to see her go shes great at what she dose but i wish they would pick a female to take her spot

ineedcoffee this makes me sad or mad, she is one of the original cast members and one of the cast I like, maybe she can transfer to one of the others...lol

LadyT85 I think it's sad that she is leaving the show especially since she was one of the original cast members. However I can't help but wonder if CSI creators are sending mixed messages. I mean with the departure of Khandi and possibly Gary Dourdan (CSI), are CSI creators trying to get rid of the few black people on their shows? Especially if they have no intention of replacing these minorities with other minorities....

princessfelicia U know, I mean, why did she have to leave at this moment? I just started looking at the show last year and I grew to like her so much and now she's leaving. THe way she always dealt with the dead and the living was quite touching and sometimes I often wondered how she did it acting or not acting.

princessfelicia SHe made me watch the show all the time because I would like how she often was early on the scene and would give Horatio his general run downs on the cause of death.

princessfelicia I wasnt even gonna look at the show that nite until I saw her son and how she cared for him so much. It touched me. Her personality and her voice always made me smile. I want her to know that shes the best ever and because shes gone now, I think Ill ease off of watching the show. Who will take over now?

I sat here in one of the glass the rooms with a cop. We were just sitting here silently. Horatio was off to do something. Why on earth would that guy take Lola. I mean she is probably annoying the heck out of them!
